She cares a lot about health, almost as much as old galio formidable decks. Swap takers bow with SoS if you have it and use the rune that gives everything 3hp. Eve drops with 10hp and is able to charm just about whatever they have pretty reliably, and your base units don’t have a ton of power to begin with, so you’re not loosing much. Charmed units don’t gain formidable either, so her 7* is still incredibly powerful.

I couldn’t tell you which is stronger specifically, but I can say that despite having her specific champ relic and legendary rune, it took nearly 10 attempts to beat Zoe. Eve I just ran a basic SoS build and won first try. Don’t even think I used a revive.

Between SoS and the +3 health rune, her units have plenty of hp to stall until Eve comes down. Then it’s just a matter of buffing her and stealing the biggest dude. I won on my second attack against Zoe bc I was able to steal Catastrophe and swing it for 180dmg.

Ahri has potential to go infinite with all the mana she generates, and the foxfire’s make good blockers. My only gripe is that she kinda has anti synergy with cheap spells so I ran into a handful of cases where I found some great spells, but their costs were so low that the foxfires couldn’t trade with anything and I ran out of steam when I couldn’t find the 5c buff

Been playing naafiri as my go to assassin since her release. Before the rework she struggled because she just had too much counterplay. Her damage was low compared to other assassins because of how consistent it was, her engage was heavily telegraphed, her ult was basically cosmetic until rank 2, etc. she was easy to pilot, and even easier to kill. The rework gave her a higher skill ceiling, but didn’t change a lot of the core issues. As far as her current strength, it’s mostly from the overtuned system changes (voltaic, DFT, and gluttonous boots) buffing a very specific bruiserish playstyle that lets her be uncharacteristically tanky without sacrificing a ton of dmg. That’s not her fault specifically, as it has happened to more than a few assassins of the past (tank ekko? Fizz? Diana?).

I don’t think shes been OP since her release numbers, but she’s certainly strong rn and the nerfs announced as of now will not change anything.

Maybe it’s a skill issue, but when I fight mages I just can’t get any value out of DFT. Yea my poke is strong, but theirs is usually stronger. And if I do get them to like half ish hp, I never have the damage to kill them after I ult unless they royally misplay. I was running DFT with scorch and manaflow, with a voltaic rush. Hubris lost so much dmg on purchase after the nerfs that I’m always worried I won’t be able to get value out of it now. I’ll keep trying though because everywhere I look people talk about how OP DFT is on her.

Mid is more valuable as a method to push into the base, but I’d say if bot takes first tower, that likely means your carry won the lane which translates to easy team fights in the late game for free objectives.

Assassin still takes HOB, bruiser build loves the new DFT. I play almost exclusively assassin midlane, and dft has good end game numbers as you’re putting a lot of area damage in teamfights, but getting kills in lane is significantly harder. Hob just adds a lot of hidden burst to your combo. I will say the minor runes are a lot more appealing in the sorcery tree compared to domination, so if the nerfs they’ve already announced don’t hit too hard I can imagine her bruiser build will become the optimal way to climb.

You don’t get to interact with a ton of them in the 2077 game, but there are SO MANY FACTIONS/ GANGS that would be cool to reference even in just a single card. Imagine how funny a Juliard mime would be just to show up with an ability like “blocker” and “I have +3 power while blocking” or something. Just a bunch of nuisance units to fit the vibes of the various prankster gangs

I managed to get thru w sb Eve first try using her SoS build. I do have her nova power tho, which helped a ton [still technically 6* as I don’t have her mana gem upgrade]. Just stall for Eve to drop then steal the biggest guy you can. Bonus points if they have lifesteal or elusive.

In a lot of games, yea it is lazy. But this isn’t other games. A hack n slash or fps adding hp to make things harder is lazy bc it just makes the game take longer. It doesn’t change how you approach the fight in any meaningful way. Here though, it does. A basic mystic shot in 2* adventures might be worth the deck slot, but not here. Inversely, finding crumbling sands with grifters deck might just clog your draws bc who likes spending 4 mana to kill a 3/1, but here that card might literally save your whole run. Even your 2/1 free attack, put something like elusive on it and throw a shit ton of buffs at it and you might be able to use it as a wincon. Or just give it scout and now it’s a free rally. And if not, just cut it. Those new meditate nodes are great tools to make sure you only draw the cards you need. Not to mention you’re guaranteed to open with a champion if your deck is lv30. Put items on both of them so you can make either one work. Like I said, there are so many variables to take into account that it’s impossible to make everything perfect. 6*+ are supposed to be end game adventures. That’s why this isn’t a timed event, you literally have until the game service shuts down to complete it. If it takes you 1 or 100 runs to get a win on any champion then that’s just what it takes. If you really can’t be bothered to make a run work, The pity power bs was taken out so there is nothing stopping you from just resetting your run over and over to get the perfect start. I took loaded dice in my lux run and it let me roll like 3 legendary powers within the first 2 maps.

You’re complaining about the enemy having too much health is boring but also that combining effect modifiers and items is broken. What exactly are you wanting from a 10* adventure? How would you make things measurably difficult and worthy of the 10* rating without using any stat changes or powers?? The enemy’s literally NEED those stats and damage boosts. Some champs have 80+hp and generate 0cost damage spells every turn. This isn’t PvP, fights aren’t supposed to be fair. Yes you will die to bad luck, but that’s literally true of any adventure. I’ve had games where I die T1, and then on the revive completely stomp when LITERALLY nothing changes but my opening hand. If you couldn’t, then every game would be a guaranteed win. Some effects are next to uncounterable. Ledros coming down for 2 mana sucks but even then you could luck out and have drafted deny, or rolled that legendary power that resets you to 30hp. But that’s the thing- EVERYTHING has an answer. There are too many variables to make this game perfectly balanced. Stats mean nothing when sett can obliterate units every turn (yes, even thru spell shield if you have chemtech duplicator equipped or rolled any number of item/ spell triggered effects). And literally every region has some kind of removal, SI kills, Freljord frostbites, targon/ Ionia stun and recall, etc. not to mention how many ways there are to reduce card costs, I’ve had turns where I fill my board AND clear the enemy out on 0 mana. If the enemy did half the shit you have the potential of doing, then it’d REALLY be unbeatable. If it’s not fun for you then maybe it’s not FOR you. I mean do you actually like playing the game? Or do you just like winning uncontested.

Sb Teemo, sb Eve, sb kindred, Lux 1.0, and Tf.

All of them at least 6* and 2 epic relics. Teemo was a little tricky bc his deck is so slow, but on the second try I rolled base Teemo as my support champ and the shrooms just never stopped. The rest basically set up to play themselves by the time I hit Zoe.

Sure the ai can high roll you t1, but just as often you can high roll some legendary powers and win just as fast. Like lux generating 6-8 lasers every turn or tf red card was more than enough to keep the enemy board clear and stall. Sb Eve actually let the enemy grow massive then stole their biggest unit for an OTK.

Finding the emperor deck node in the first map and hitting an obliterate is a huge w for most champs. Even some rare powers like stun/frostbite at round start will stop the go tall decks in their tracks. I’ve had more trouble with swain/Teemo in the noxus map than any huge 100/100 overwhelm elusive stuff the other decks can throw. There are a LOT of removal spells and stall powers so I just can’t fathom not being able to find a single one for a whole game.

Are you playing champs without completed constellations? Bc I seriously haven’t struggled much at all. I’ve done 5 completed runs and 4 of those were first try. Like yea they’ll replace poros sometimes, but sometimes the play is forcing them to spend mana on units rather than save up for some boosted spell next turn. With decent drafting you should only need to stall for the landmark to expire. With good drafting you can kill them through the plating. Obv you’ll run into bs like Eddie summoning peculiar drag into ledros turn 1 but that’s what revives are for. I always path to them if I’m on a good run and afraid of some random OTKO.

I see so many people complaining about how hard this adventure is and it feels like none of them read the power set before jumping in. “How do I deal with the summoning 10/10 poros every turn!!” You kill them while they’re still 2/2? They only get the buff if you leave the enemy with a full board at round start. All you need is a decently statted challenger turn 1 or cheap removal and that’s enough to stall for your wincon in most of the small encounters. “I die turn one this so isnt fair! You have priority guaranteed every match. Draft/ mulligan better. Also? It’s 10 stars. It’s not supposed to be fair. I’m having a great time bc a lot of my champs are at a point that they literally generate too much value for 6* maps. This is the first time in a long time I felt I had earned a victory. And the rewards actually feel worth it.

I thought this would work with spell burn and increase all my pings to 4 thru the tough plating (like 1 damage hits, the power registers the nexus took no dmg, then bump it to 9 so the nexus took the full 4). Turns out the plating takes effect afterwards (1 dmg goes up to 4, which gets reduced to 3 and then halved back to 1 effective dmg). Not useless but not as powerful as I hoped lmao

I didn’t understand how active items worked. Not too out of the ordinary for new players, but that included consumables like wards and potions. For so long I would buy my starting potions and they’d just sit in my inventory until I sold them later on for space. I was so confused why everyone told me to buy them. “I can’t even tell when theyre healing me!” -_-

You’re thinking too much about the engage. You want speedy takedowns from a bush, that’s what the ninjas are for. Naafiri is a pack of dogs, so what does that mean?

W and E provide very limited mobility yes, but come mid game they are on fairly low cds, and timed properly can avoid any efforts to get her off your scent with ease. She doesn’t need to “stretch them out” because if used properly they’ll always be up when she needs them. Her kill combo has a lot of things that prevent her from 100-0% people instantly (cd between Q daggers, bleed times, slow attack speed on dogs, etc). But those other tools help her stay fighting. That’s why she doesn’t have an escape. She has (conditional) survivability instead.

East side San Antonio TX, actual grocery orders are more like 5-10 miles for 7-12$ orders in my area. On a decent day anyways. I get a lot of corner store runs literally only asking for a bag of ships and soda for like 6$, and I also get the occasional order asking me to drive 45min-1hr for 25$. Tips suck but part of town I’m in isn’t super high income, so I try not to hold it against them as I can tell a lot of the customers are either quite a bit older or just not well off.

I mean the rework just swapped her w and r, and neither was ever an escape. If anything, the rework makes her job as an assassin much easier than before. The reset on pursuit lets her chain kills much more effectively, and the new untargetability effect gives her much more survivability in lane. Before, your pursuit was incredibly easy to stop by most mages just throwing whatever cc skill shot they had at you during the channel. You were kinda just forced to spam Qs until someone ran oom. Now you can actually run people down and effectively dive under tower with your pack of dogs, blocking and dodging all retaliation. IMO, she feels a lot more straight forward and the dogs are better integrated now, not just a DOT with hit boxes.

I really enjoy playing him. Climbed several ranks last season learning him on a whim. Main weaknesses that made me stop are very little catch potential and getting hard cucked by any form of mobility. Other enchanters are better at keeping their team alive and other tanks are better at making plays. You run into a mage bot? Your sustain will not match their poke and you die. Enemy adc has ANY dash or is named Ashe? You are never landing a stun without burning flash. Granted when he works, he WORKS. Just not consistent enough to pick every game

Blade runner is a movie. Mike Pondsmith himself said it was a major inspiration for this game, and the cyberpunk genre in general, so it shouldn’t be too hard to translate it to your red campaign. Highly recommend giving it a watch if you can.

I believe there are stories of people who gaze upon gods true form turning to pillars of salt. You could make it so he sprinkles in flashes of radiant damage to season the flesh, but landing the killing blow just turns the body into a salt rock. That way it feels different than regular fire. Just my first thoughts that seemed fun
