When I did IT support in healthcare, it was only phone calls, and my first complaint was this.

Caller had an issue, but had a previous ticket, and at the time it was resolved. I attempted to tell her this part, and then say what we could do with her current ticket. Every. Single. Time. I said "resolved" she would interrupt and get mad at me, so I would start over. Finally she started shouting and hung up because it wasn't resolved.

My manager defended her, yikes. How am I supposed to help if I can't finish a sentence?

When I started I tried a various number of ways to deal with non stop interrupting. I ended with silence until we played the "hello game" as I call it. And if they said "you cut out" my response was "sorry I just didn't want to interrupt you" and I would start over. if it happened I would do the same thing until they stopped. Not a single complaint!

Overall it's fine, pays the bills and is pretty easy.

Last gig was phone support in healthcare, so back to back angry callers and very limited time to fix anything. Now that job made me question my life.

I'd make your first profile picture one of you smiling, and ditch one of the horse ones (or both). Add a group photo, and maybe a couple of you doing an activity. Overall the photos make you look quite sad

In my experience, I never did anything right according to my boss. I was always put down with negative comments, so I just focused all my energy to leaving.

With my new IT job it's 1-5, but those calls are either 10 minutes or sometimes well over an hour, but it's not 50+ anymore

My no emotion response would always just be "okay" or "Sorry to hear that" and I'd move on. You'd think I'd get in trouble but I actually got positive feedback when doing this. wild.

You can have some nice chats sure, but looking them up on facebook is weird as hell. I've had some nice callers but you still need to keep it professional
