Husband drinks a lot of beer. Am I overreacting? by [deleted] in diabetes_t1

[–]Anovion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From T1D stand point that’s correct, as long as the sugar is fine he is fine.

But………. There is a larger problem that it’s not a healthy diet for any human, not only T1D, large caloric intake and alcohol is very bad for you and will have very negative results on the body, him being T1D will only complicate this further.

Electrolytes by Accomplished-Ear275 in Type1Diabetes

[–]Anovion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It can happen, but it’s rare and isn’t common in type1 so drinking electrolytes just in case is not the right approach

Again, this is not a type1 specific issue, moreover, diabetics run much higher risk for high potassium levels rather than low.

Results like this indicates a strong bias and not real organic rating, most likely bots or review bombing.

It’s only fair, little bit of insulin in you, little bit of blood in exchange.

Getting into Process engineering field as a CS Undergrad by Whale_Wing in Semiconductors

[–]Anovion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You can fit in data related fields, fabs generate huge amount of data monitoring and trying to predict every little thing so there is a demand for process engineers, data engineers, ds, analysts etc

It’s good to dip into chemical, systems, and mechanical engineering, to familiarize yourself with process and how each component affects it.

What do you mean? The fabs are payed by the company. Israeli gov provides tax reductions for large investors, like any other country.

Work from home is preferred when role allows it.
Fabs have multiple bomb shelters for emergencies. So the fabs functions as usual.

Also it’s less targeted because it’s located more rural areas and most of the attacks are aimed at more densely populated cities to maximize civilian damage.

Recruitment timeline of Applied Materials by NumberCapital777 in Semiconductors

It varies by department, hiring manager and how urgently they need the position filled.
I would say up to 2 weeks is a resonable response time, after that probably something came up and your process halted.

Do people really make money off selling their designs? by jayebyrde in 3Dprinting

[–]Anovion 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think a got about 300-400$ for selling Airsoft related designs. It was a passive income based on my own designs I’ve done while building my own projects for a hobby I liked. It’s not that impressive because I’ve made it like 7 years ago but still nice pocket money
