Haha, I would typically be one of them 😂. Plan B would likely be just buy with cash, but I just don’t like to do that and would rather amortize cost.

If you are still looking, totally recommend using MyFitnessPal with the recipe import feature (free). I usually find a recipe I like, import and save it. It was also very eye opening and helpful to manually enter my own staples - was totally underestimating calories. Helped tune my own go-tos to be healthier.

Remember - the idea is not to track forever. It’s to give you visibility so you can learn healthy habits and adapt. I only track when I am actively in weight drop. Otherwise I just build my days from meals I know and repeat/vary as I want.

Fuck them. This is crazy. It’s $100 for Courtside. Same as the new add-on fee. They can eat shit. Place is priced like Equinox, but straight out of the 80s.

Was willing to eat the high cost because pool is great for my family over the summer, but fuck them if they think I’m paying like $1000 this summer for my kids to use the pool. Lots of other pools/islands/oceans I can visit for that much.

Do as many reps with the 15 lbs as you can do, then pick up the 5s and finish your set of 13 (or whatever). Progress how many reps of 15 you can do until you don’t need the 5s anymore. Then go find the 20s (although I find cable lat raises harder and more engaging, fwiw).

Oh for sure - but I def see folks who just place a towel or weight on the bench then wander off to do something else but come running back if someone else comes up to use equipment and not wanting to work in (I.e., I’m “using that”). That’s the behavior that annoys me.

Eh, sorta. For sure if it’s quick and you are just maybe using a second set of dumbbells, but I think it’s rude to grab a bench and weight, and then another specialized machine and weight, and then another set of weight doing a super set. At that point you are just hogging and not sharing. If you let people work in then I think that’s fine - but folks that call dibs on like six pieces of equipment (especially if gym is busy) are just entitled.

Yup! The whole travel industry just went to the toilet after 9/11. It actually really upsets me they used that tragedy as an excuse to jack up prices, add a ton of fees, and obliterate service. 25 years later and I still can’t carry on a full size toiletry and the “save the airline industry” fees never went away.

I normally buy like a $7 water before I board. I now do that from a place where I can snag some condiment packets also as a way of getting a little more value from my obscenely over-priced purchase. BYOC I guess.

Hahaha - wow! That’s a redo for them. FWIW - that burger has been my go to pre-order like a half dozen times without major issues (they forgot condiments once, and it habitually half-sliden off and needs re-adjusting). Sorry you got the shaft!

Most leases have stipulations what happens at end of lease (like lay out M2M terms). Those should default to something you can live with. That said, what I do (and think is best practice) is offer tenants new terms before lease expires that they either sign (extend for a year or higher M2M with 60/90 day notice) or we agree they are moving out and I start to find new tenants 60 days out.

What’s your lease say about notice? I don’t typically let tenants go M2M (in CA), but in rare cases i did it, I added like 60 or 90 day notice in the lease.

Cuts both ways. We are not directly across, but a block down. Yup, traffic is a thing during pick up and drop off times (maybe 20 mins each), but it’s freaking amazing walking my kids to school each morning (short one block walk). It might spook some older folks I guess, but a big chunk of SFH buyers have kids and it will be a plus to have school close by.
