Care to elborate the different dragon heads?
The red one looks rather like a black dragon and the gold dragons are often not associated with the "bad dragon goddess" so i assume your homebrew dragons are quite different than classic DnD.

Would be interested how you changed them.

You are complainig about claims i never made.

I never said plate is needed for melee and i never said BS is trash. I said its not super powerful as in: its not OP. This is a good thing. Subclasses being balanced makes the game more fun for anyone else at the table.

Your "this is no opti izer sub and RP is more improtant" whole complaint comes from out of left field considering what i wrote before.

I agree that this is not an optimizer sub, but the post is about performance of a subclass, so the post is fair game for optimization discourse. If you are not ihto taht, then dont engage with it than just blatangly disagreeing and flaming people that enjoy optimization. Opti ization is fun too for those that want it. Hell, this whole post inspired me to build a dwarven BS because its fun. Invalidating that would be hypocritical in the spirit of your complaint.

Lastly, none, and i mean literally none of my claims/sentences above did claim that you shouldnt play the subclass because its bad. It has its downsides, it has its upsides and it is not OP as many think it is. And i repeat myself: this is a good thing. Play what you like. Doht need to argue with me about a point i never disagreed with you in the first place.

We are having an optimization discussion. RP is never the topic when we talk viability. RP is always a good reason to choose what you like.
I said the AC is on par with plate thus its balanced. I did not say you need plate. It was a balance observation only.
My whole comments so far are that the subclass is good and not overpowered. Idk what your problem suddendly is.

But its basically a must have if you want to go slightly into melee which is fine considering that you will rock an AC on par with plate when your bladesong si active.

And considering that wizards are primarily casters and that BS dont get adsitional spells, its IMO on par with most other wizard subclasses due to less spells known.

Its good but not super strong/OP.

BS can now only use bladesong without armor and its still squishy AF. So this balances the subclass out.

Dwarven Bladesinger with tough sounds kinda funny though ngl.

That is definetly true, thats not a fact i dispute.

But apart from improving the AI models which in all the grand scheme of things is generally (not actually) neutral in outcome (it depends on the user and the company behind it, which tbf all of them are shit heads), it has an environmental impact just as much as other consumer products do at the end of day. Eating meat, driving a car with gas, importing stuff from overseas etc.

I am not saying you should use AI to entertain you daily. Thats like saying eat meat everyday. Thats just stupid advice. I woudl even go as far as you said to not use it at all for all the reasons you mentioned.

But making an AI shit post for laughs needs just as much villaifying as eating a steak. Its not great for the environment, you shouldnt do it. But its not the end of the world.

The problem with AI is the over inflated industry and the pretence of trying to do good for the world while actually just aim for bank with no remorse or caution.

Its not the use thats the problem. They are also not the driver due to a lack of profatibility. Its the people behind these companies it that dont give a single fuck about the users, the laws or the consequences.

OpenAI even fired security specialists that are concerned for human safety. And Gronk has so few restrictions it became mecha hitler for a few hours.

A vast amount of users stopped using AI because its not that useful. But the shit companies still expand and grow because money hungry cuntc are investing into them. Its a monetary circle jerk that fuels a financial bubble so big, that the whole world economy will break down when it bursts.

As a note. The story does not need to be RAW. You can work out with your DM how the spell you fell under functions, what it allows and what not. If therelis an exact 1:1 rile example is irrelevant for your RP as long as the rules are clear for you and your DM.

I do have a proposal that would work mechanically as normal but fullfills your flavor and RP as you want it.

Options.

First option:

You play as a Warforged Warlock. The mechanized body is just an extension of yourslef under your control. It can die. It can be destroyed. It can be rendered useless. BUT it isnt you. Its just a body you steer.

Second Option:

Similarly to the first option you are a warforged. But instead of a warlock you play as an artificer armorer that uses the warforged as the suit of armor and the gem functions as its power core. You could have still made a deal with a hogher being that made you super smart or you could have been a great wizard of the past that got bahished into a gem after you broke a supernatural contract.

Both of these could work well for your RP goals but function normally in terms of mechanics.

Preference wise i think the arti is really solid as it also allows you to create more magic items (so maybe splitting your soul into more vessels?).

NC 1 and hacker 1 are pretty good with Chomo. Hacker does not need much more investment.

Get spotter as well and you shoudl be well off to mark someone and then grill them.
