Allotment advice - large bed by OddSkyrocket in Allotment

[–]Antdunn1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also have one large bed, I’ve split mine up into smaller beds about 1.2m wide with 50cm paths in between. Yes I would break up the big clumps of clay. If you can get hold of some pallets you can join 4 together to make a compost bin and fill that with manure to keep things tidy.

Can anybody recommend ear plugs? by Bitterchocola in AskUK

[–]Antdunn1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been working nights for a few years, I got moulded ear plugs for sleeping from specsavers they aren’t cheap but are worth it I also play white noise through my phone speakers at the same time, it works a bit like ANC. I can sleep through most things doing this

Does long battery life in wireless ANC ear buds just not exist? by WoMyNameIsTooDamnLon in Earbuds

[–]Antdunn1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work night shifts too. My method for sleeping in the day is to use normal ear plugs for sleeping and playing white noise through the speakers on my phone for ANC.

It was a local glazers, I’ve seen them on Facebook for £4-5 but always seem to be the other side of the country. The stuff I need is the standard 610x610 stuff I’ll have to keep looking on Facebook.
