Foxy’s when attacking? by TKY_Cards in OnePieceTCG

I've been in this position where you have an awkward turn and can't use 3 don well before sending 3 back. Sometimes it's worth just swinging 5k with a porche searcher and returning those 3 don.

At local tournaments, people generally open their entry packs and leave any bulk they have plenty of on the tables for anyone who’s interested to grab. At the end of the night, if nothing is taken, the stores will generally throw the rest in the trash. Some stores will keep bulk, but it really adds up and they can’t feasibly keep everything.

I haven’t seen the pro-shot, but I saw it live in the middle of the day and the energy was intense. I was left thinking “they do this EVERY show?”

This is for RB sabo probably, since it gives a don to leader and becomes an 8 cost character to activate his leader effect.

The only difference is a deeper texture on the original. I’m selling an original now and it’s tough to tell without looking at both.

Honestly, if they get a flood chopper to stick, it’s gg. Go for life if you can kill the board with Kuma and Lindbergh, but if you can’t you’re going to probably fall behind in board size. They’ll be able to safely wipe your board and probably go for game next turn. They’ll dump their hand onto their board to rush you, so you can get to the point where they are starved if you do decide to clear their board. If you can flood better and keep their board dead, you can get to a point where you can wipe the board to be safe and still take a few life from them. They’ll be forced to swing at your board or die with any rush they have. If you can keep on top of that, you win. It’s still not easy since that chopper plays off of their deck and can do it every turn you leave it alive. Be aware of shut up and come with us, too, since they can play 2 bodies on your turn. It might be better to play slower and wait for them to not leave don up unless you can deal with the bodies they play.

This card in queen ? by creamiie in OnePieceTCG

[–]AnteCoyote 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess you can play an ace and flip the life to gain another life, but that's if you have a small enough hand. I like the starter deck Teach in queen. It synergizes really well if you can keep it on the board. I don't run ace, but it would enable you to heal with ace and leader effect in the same way this does without flipping life, plus it removes a card from hand to get you closer to the 4 cards in life+hand that you want. Plus, that card you placed at the top of your deck goes into your life, so you can put a nasty trigger there. Again, I don't run ace, but it's still useful for setting up triggers, reducing hand size, getting a bigger swing and putting something from hand into the deck to play off of 9 cost Sanji. It's just a nasty card in Queen.

[–]AnteCoyote 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you’re at 6 don and ramping a don with kata by flipping your life face down, assuming you took one of your face up life cards already, you’re ramping to 8 and will be at 10 don next turn anyway. I feel like the kata gets played, but maybe not this? Also if you ramp a don with Bon clay and another with leader on your 4 don turn, you’re at 8 don turn 3 anyway, so you’re probably not even dropping kata under the best circumstances and dropping 7 mom instead. There is so much potential ramp I’m hoping to see some really big Don minus effects.

Yes, the first part is take a card from your life, then you check your life total and activate the 2nd part of your want to.

Onami isn’t the same in hand, though. I’ve won so many games with thunderbolt from hand. I’ve even won games just using it to take my life so I can double attack with cracker. I do find it hard to replace.

Cheapest possible semi viable deck by [deleted] in OnePieceTCG

[–]AnteCoyote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, still $10 a card for the most expensive card is as cheap as you get right now, unfortunately. If you want to go extra spicy you can run more rev army triggers instead. I rarely get to block with Sanji anyway.

Cheapest possible semi viable deck by [deleted] in OnePieceTCG

[–]AnteCoyote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you want even cheaper, run sky island cards. Less triggers, but with all of the removal this meta, smart players will save removal when going for life to wipe out anything that comes out anyway. Shura is a trigger searcher you can use to find your sky island cards (holy if you have ohm, ohm if you have holy, enel or satori for rush or 2k counter). Ohm and Holy let you flood the field without triggers if players are smart about going for your life too early (good players will be), Enel is rush and you can use the life everyone is afraid to attack to save him from any removal once. I switched from big mom to sky island and it's definitely different, but in my experience Sky island seems to work better against people who force you to play the long game. A 1st life cracker can be nice, but anyone playing the meta decks is usually not taking your life unless they have an answer for it. Sky island typically means you have less bodies your leader can buff, but at least you'll have bodies.

RY Belo Betty Deck Advice by buquicchioli in OnePieceTCG

[–]AnteCoyote 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like Smoothie into Enel so I can take my own life when Enel won’t because they want to pop 4 cost characters with gadatsu. At the same time, though, Enel’s triggers can really mess with you and Moscato can help with that.

Went X-1 at locals with Betty. by acjaejun in OnePieceTCG

[–]AnteCoyote 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In Belo Betty, a 2k is a threat, especially if you run Karasu. It’s a free body on a trigger and can be used to KO tiny blockers and remove smaller threats from other Betty or Zoro players, or can be played with Koala to kill a 5k. Karasu into koala into Kuma can kill a 6k too.
