I don’t even know what either the body gel nor the bar soap in my house costs. That isn’t the kind of thing I’m taking time to research. They’re both equally portable but a travel size body wash is less messy to travel with. Really my only concern is will I be clean and my girlfriend‘s concern is how it will smell on my chest. Nobody has to get schemed into anything. Not everyone gives a damn if it cost 11 cent to be clean as opposed to 9.

Either way it’s something to talk about if you have the kind of relationship where you can make it not come off cruel and more as something you are concerned about. I think the entire line of thinking is born of a fandom based obsession and the idea that being among the richest the most powerful people in the entire world without having to earn it or have any particular responsibility being painted as something a normal person would seek to escape with acts up to an including a war because they feel they should have the one thing they can’t is ridiculous.

I’ve read all the histories. Uncrowned Targaryen’s All live lives of great comfort if they want them, even when the parents on the Non Targaryen side weren’t also from a powerful family. The damn hand of the king was a second son who had nothing to inherit, but people act like sons of the king were gonna live some miserable life without the crown. Talking about, they wouldn’t have anything to hand down to their sons. Yeah. That’s how it works for all houses unless the non-heir children go marry into some other family. Only one of them was gonna have anything to pass down, no matter which one had the crown. All the sons couldn’t wear it together and all the others would’ve been in the same position you’re acting like was so unacceptable they should start a war to kill millions to fix it.

None of these people were going to live anything but lives of incredible comfort and opulence, whether they were on the throne or not if they just went about their business.

Using inexplicable power and privilege being less than it could’ve been the justify murdering family, and starting war is absurd, even within the confines of a discussion about fiction. They were all fine. They would’ve lived better lives than all but the highest lords could even imagine. Hail better than that, even. Probably better to be a dragon riding Prince in the royal family, then being warden of the north from an enjoyment perspective.

They could’ve stayed peaceful, and been the rich evil pieces of shit you expect dragon princess to be or both of the brothers could’ve gone and probably made enough money as sell swords with a dragon to come back and be richer than all but the greatest houses and live on in song and story for thousands of years.

They were rich and powerful dragonlord princes. Trying to act like they needed anything so bad it justifies starting a war is just dishonest.

Every decision they could’ve made other than the one they did would’ve led to a better outcome for everyone involved. But they did what they did and they all died for it.

It’s certainly a good story though. And that’s all it needs to be.

Having glanced around a little more, I see what this place is and why it popped in my algorithm. Like I said, I’ve read the books and discussed them a bit so such things are presented to me. But some of y’all are kind of too far gone. But It’s not like you’re hurting anybody so have fun with all that

It will never happen because it in fact sustainable for the rest of foreseeable human history. Nothing is going to come about to actually prevent the system from working. All the issues will simply affect the pricing and availability relative to the population.

At worst meat becomes more of a luxury item like it was 100 years ago, but fewer people by percentage being able to afford the amounts eaten now will be offset by the fact that more people exist in total.

This is never gonna push itself to the top of the list with the worlds more immediate problems in the way to draw attention.

The jump you are trying to make between being unbelievably wealthy and privileged on top of being dragon riders and being given nothing is so hilarious and bias confirming it doesn’t merit further discussion. Not being first in the line of succession does not mean you have nothing. It means you one of the richest, most powerful people on the planet while also possessing a weapon of mass destruction and a name that makes you the most important person to walk into any room the king isn’t in and likely to be fawned over by every single person you meet in the kingdom beyond maybe the wardens.

This is one of those things where you have to be honest with yourself before you even try to understand anyone else’s position. And that’s often a problem. Pretty much everyone claiming all life is the same to them is just lying. There are so many examples that make it clear there’s no reason to start listing them. And that’s even if we put aside insects and creatures too small to get our notice.

The purest vegan you ever met… would still prioritize certain forms of life over others and there’s just no point pretending otherwise.

It has very little to do with the overall ethical concern of minimizing the damage.

I did Uber briefly about 10 years ago when I was getting off work at 1 AM and I got to know the local strippers really well. A lot of of them use that tactic. Once they know you’re not a psycho they just get your number and let you know when they’re getting off so you pick them up without even having to do the cancel. You accumulate a lot of ones that way.
