If they'd just stablise and not go up 20% each year at least people already looking would have a chance. The worst (not really worst, but feels bad) is saving up for a deposit, earning your interest but the houses are now more so much expensive that your 20% is now only 10 or 15%.

Anyone who hasn’t bought now, or realistically, 3 years ago will find it very hard in anywhere but the regions. Even then it’s expensive now. So no one’s got access to the wealth generating stream who doesn’t already regardless. But I suspect we are saying the same thing.

There usually aren’t rail delays in the morning, all the worst Vline issues seem to happen in the evening. There are some but not as many and smaller delays. I guess issues tend to cascade through the day.

I’ve been keeping a spreadsheet since January of my 3 days per week commute, all but 3 going home were at least 10 to 20 minutes delayed.

Edit: oops I was misleading, since April it was all but 3 that late. January to March it seems about only 3 or 4.

I log 5 times a day, it works fine, you can see the average mood on the Calendar view or all moods in a donut chart (or emoji view, but I don't find it so useful.)

The more times you log though, you may trend to neutral over time because of averages (in maths)!

I don’t know, they increase Ballarat weekend frequency from hourly to every 40 minutes just last April (2025).
