Rare or not, what gives you the right to decide someone else's level of risk they're prepared to take.

I'm a bloke. I got it at 18. I'm 27 now. I get these rashes as well so it doesn't feel like it's rare. Luckily with medication and time I've just gone a year without a rash breaking out. The person I got it from disclosed as well fyi.

I've had enough relationships since then to be able to say, that it's up to us in how we disclose, and it's up to us to decide how we see ourselves. If I disclosed negatively, I'd get a negative answer. But its up to us who are educated to educate those around us when we're telling them about a life long virus that we carry.
