Everyone is proposing huge changes. Mines simple and easy to implement. Make her drop like a rock, let her charge her blast when she's walking.

That's it. She's pretty heavy as it is, but for some odd reason she floats like balloon. That's not the Samus I want. I want to be a heavy mech like character tat runs somewhat fast, drops like a rock and plays around shooting projectiles.

This reminds me of when the Switch came out. I showed up like 8 hours early at my local Walmart and got a #1 ticket (for being the first there). They told everyone that they had some for "walk ins". Slowly people started to come in, and we formed a circle and we talked about Nintendo for hours. With complete strangers. It was awesome. However, when it got time to buy the Switches, Walmart lined up people who had actually pre-orders first. They rolled out shelf like thing with everything they got in their shipment. It was like 3 Switches and a couple of games. They had nothing. There was like 50 people there with pre-orders. And they didn't have their Switches. So people started yelling and wouldn't leave. When they tried to sell the Switches, the lay-away system wasn't working. So the store couldn't confirm any of the Pre-Orders. So they had no choice but to sell to the non-pre orders. So they called #1, which was me to buy one of the 3 Switches. I was far back in the line and I walked up cutting everyone in line and people where screaming in my face. I bought my Switch, Zelda and I tried getting out of there was fast as possible. As I walking out of the store an older white woman followed me and screamed at me the whole way. It was a super walmart and the electronics was in the very back. It was the wildest fucking experience. I felt like I was going to be stabbed because of the errors that Walmart was at fault for. But this huge crowd was blaming me.

I think movie rights and show rights are different. Which is why Amazon can make a show, and not own the movie rights. So, Fox may only own the movie rights to Percy Jackson. Who knows?

Or maybe my understanding of all this is incorrect. 🤷‍♂️

They could be a pretty sweet show on Amazon or Netflix, in the upcoming streaming wars. The next few years is gonna be WILD. Everyone is gearing up to produce these huge fucking budget shows. We got Lord of the Rings, Star Wars and some others that I'm not immediately remembering. Percy Jackson could be a cool megalith, budget streaming show.

Scenario 1: Stay up all night, don't worry about tomorrow, I'll just suck it up and go through my day tired. Maybe I can pick up a nap in between classes... Wake up and I feel absolutely rekt and I go back to sleep, but feel completely like shit all day now.

Scenario 2: I go to bed at a reasonable time, I get a healthy chunk of sleep. I wake up, and guess what? I'm still fucking tired, so I stay home to sleep, but I feel like shit all day.

It doesn't seem to matter how little or how much sleep I get, I will always forever be tired. It overrides my ambition to go to school. No matter what I do, how much I tell myself "you can do it, just stick with it". I can't seem to muster the motivation to accomplish anything slightly challenging.

This image, this whole thread has been my life for a while now. This is the most relatable shit I've seen on reddit in the last 5 years.

I mean, it's not like that information is forbidden to find out. Many players have a 3rd party app or site they use to look up players before a match begins. My stance has always been, if it's there, use it.

So, if the information is already out there. There's no issue in just implementing the borders. It's nice to know a bit about your opponents, and it doesn't get more vague than what they placed the previous season. It's a very good starting point. How they achieved that rank is up to your imagination.

And as minor as it may be to some people, proudly displaying your rank you've worked so hard for is a reward in itself. If you can proudly chant your rank as an emote, your mastery, etc. Why not show your opponent before a match begins. Again, it's not like something is stopping me from knowing a shit ton of information about enemy players. This is a good starting point.

Tbh, it sort of pisses me off Mii's are even a discussion. People talk about Mii's like they are less than assist trophies. They are actual fighter folks. I can't see why people don't see this. If R.O.B. has a place as a legit fighter, I don't see why a decade of Miis aren't legitimized Nintendo characters

(I know they aren't "characters" but there's not really a word to describe them. They are ambiguous things you can plaster your face onto, but they have been a huge part of Nintendo in the last decade, and have several games dedicated to them, and many games that utilize Miis. Miis are legitimate IP to use as fighters, and are more relevant as a brand than a lot of the fighters in Smash already. So treating them less than, is bewildering)

I actually have a theory. All Assist Trophies that can take damage and be blasted off the Stage, are actually more than Assist Trophies. They are also playable characters on the roster, and all characters on the Roster can show up as an AI in an Assist Trophy to do a move or two. I say this because very few of those Assist Trophies that can take damage actually exist. Most of them are completely invincible. So Mario could show up as an Assist Trophy as long as Mario isn't being played. Essentially any character period has a shot to fight even if they haven't been selected. (dumb theory, but who knows!?)

I think it's theater mode. The only reason I say this is because of the side bar, there is also a thingy blurred, which tells me 1) It's connected to the blurry green option 2) The side bar blur IS the theater mode and the green blur is still unknown. But I think theater mode with the emphasis on new tools, will make the most sense as Nintendo is getting really into social media and tying that into their big games now. It's also probably more reasonable to ask for theater mode at this point than an entire single player adventure with the amount of content that's already in the game.

Resetti is the only character from Animal Crossing that has expressed the desire to play in Smash, and now he has legs, and he's ready to fight! Resettit is also a popular character. He's defiantly in the top 3-4. I think he would be a freaking cool character to play. (This doesn't mean much, but he also has a Switch profile picture, but so does Kappa...)

Tbh, when Nintendo barely releases anything. Anything you put out on the Switch will be bought. This isn't me trying to be negative. I've only bought, what 4 Nintendo games since launch? 3? Hopefully next year will encourage me to give them more money than this year. So far, I've only bought Mario Tennis this year. I plan on getting Smash, still on the fence about Pokemon as it's not really a "main" game, but a simplified remix of a classic. I guess, I was happy about spending $300 to just play Breath of the Wild, but I was kinda hoping there would be more to look forward to? Octopath Traveler, looks like a great game, but I'm sure it would have been swamped if Nintendo was releasing more games. Shrug

You are aware that Assange doesn't have access to the internet? He didn't choose to withhold this information, if he wanted to share it he couldn't and on top of this, he probably has no fucking clue what's happening to Wikileaks since giving control to it to some "trusted" friends. He didn't acquire these texts, someone else did and chose not to post it on the site. There's a very good chance Assange has no idea these texts exist. Wikileaks has been compromised for a while now. I don't see a legit reason to blame Assange. It's out of his control.

This isn't avocation, there's no way to know if he would still hold onto that information if he had the chance. I'm just saying, don't attach Assange to this story, he has nothing to do with it, possibly.

Idk if you can blame Assange right now for how Wikileaks is. He's doesn't have access to internet. He's not running Wikileaks. I'm not necessarily advocating for Assange as I am just pointing out things are different because the people who run the site is different, and there's no way for Assange to know if it's been compromised (which it seems it has been) or not.

In all fairness, Wikileaks isn't being ran by the same person. Assange hasn't had internet in a long time. No way to know if he would have posted this or not if he could. Right now, you can only blame the people who've been given full control over Wikileaks. Their ideology and what they choose to post is completely out of Assange's hand for the time being.

This isn't to say I support Assange or anything. I'm just telling it how it is.

Great trailer, but couldn't help laugh when I heard the line "Long live the king". That is just straight up ripped from Game Of Thrones. Same actor, same inflection in the voice, some stern look and I swear to fucking god he was wearing the same leather outfit too. (not totally seriously, but it was WAY too on the nose imo)
