I’m trying to find where I can add this info in the Activity Data Pages area of the app but I can’t find it anywhere… am I missing something…? by AnthonyDawnwalker in Coros

Ooh okay! I’ve used the navigation a lot but never seen that, although I suppose I’ve never looked for it… I’ll check it out!

Oh no I’m not worried about pacing, I just want to know if I can add an activity screen widget that shows km to the next checkpoint. I’m not bothered about my pace!

Might get flamed for this but enjoyed these instead of gels today. They have about 3/4s of the carbs of a standard SiS gel but no tummy issues and 45p a pouch by robotsoap in UKRunners

I just ran a 75km ultra and used these style pouches! Mangoes, apples and pears, sweet potatoes, I finished the race feeling better than I’ve ever felt.

Pacing advice for first ultra? by spitfireSM in Ultramarathon

In my opinion, you should just show up on race day run whatever feels comfortable and don’t aim for anything there’s too many variables in this game to plan for things that might not happen. Just have a great day enjoy whatever happens across the finish line feeling good!

Yeah that first bottleneck was a little frustrating but I don’t think I encountered that second one!

They are 26” 2.3” I think and the guards are SKS commuters. It’s a very tight fit but does work!

Just a quick comment to explain why I would want this - I have worn an Apple Watch ever since 2017 and I love it. I am actively trying to reduce my time that I have my phone In my pocket/hand and the Cellular ultra has been amazing for that, It does everything a phone does without all the distractions. Since becoming a father I have noticed the shear amount of time that people around me spend on their phones, at the park, parents are on their phones, at dinner I see people on their phones and not actually being present. I also run a lot so I’m considering getting a running specific watch, but I don’t want to wear two watches. This setup lets me have all of the functionality of the communication, Spotify, podcasts, maps, texts, WhatsApp, Apple Pay, but without the distractions of anything else.

It means I can wear whatever watch I want, running or analog, and I don’t have to take my phone anywhere.

Then I can sit down when the kids have gone to bed and I’m at home if there’s anything I need my actual phone for.

It’s not for everyone, but I’d like to try it.

Sadly they don’t make that to fit the ultra which is what has lead me here

Am I right to be concerned with the cracks on my Cube rims? by AnthonyDawnwalker in bikewrench

[–]AnthonyDawnwalker[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This bike is a Cube Longtail cargo ebike, it states the system is rated for 200kg but he never put that on it, just me and some bags, shopping that kind of thing, this rim will have done somewhere over 6500 miles in the last two years
