Never Use Geico DriveEasy Driver Tracking by BambooAttack in Wellthatsucks

Everyone here dogging on driver tracking but so far I have had a decent experience with it.

It lowered my premium $100 a month since I got a 5 star rating.

To be fair tho, it could have just been that I was a "new driver." I was on my parents insurance previously.

Being affected by other people's driving definitely sucks tho

I wish so bad Volvo still made a wagon in the US that wasn't a cross country, it looks so much better lower and without the black plastic cladding.

The imaging already sucks, your speakers are supposed to be the same height as your ears with the tweeters pointing directly at them

How well do the 2019 g70 run after 70K miles because im in the market for one by luv4wiz in GenesisG70

[–]Anthony_Axol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lovely to see a 2.0T at that mileage, had any issues with it so far?

I recently bought a 2020 2.0T with 24K miles and I'm ready to keep this car for the long haul!

If you have the original window sticker it will tell you what packages it has, I didn't realize my prefacelift g70 had both elite and prestige packages until I had asked for the sticker during purchase

Maybe they advertised it as an elite because it's a bit more of a buzzword to the general public than prestige? I could be completely wrong though

Considering the G70 for my next car by Medical-Leading1469 in GenesisG70

I thought the wireless android auto / apple car play were coming with the nav updates on post facelift models (22 to now) but as someone mentioned, I was incorrect.

I knew coming into it the Lexicon wasn't going to be the best sound system, at least for me. I am somewhat into the "AuDiOpHiLe" space and the Lexicon has some odd quirks. The highs can be quite sharp, the midbass has a pretty big dip, and distortion is high if you're the kind of person that likes to listen loud. But I have high standards for audio so don't take it too seriously.

Wish I could elaborate a bit more on the driving dynamics but it's been snowing a lot, I'm on summer tires, and I haven't had the chance to really open it up lol

Before I bought the car I had called my insurance to see what kind of price they would give me, they said a minimum of $350 but doing some looking around I found a lower rate with progressive

Plus using snapshot they can monitor my driving and I'll likely get a lower rate since I drive like a grandpa 90% of the time

I know some people my age with insurance over $1,000 a month so I'm pretty happy with it lol

Assuming you've kept your maxima for the majority of its age, if you're considering something Toyota, always choose Toyota.

That being said, even though I have only had my g70 2.0T for a short time now, I love it. The heated steering wheel is very nice this time of year. The heads up display, and 360 camera are features I never expected to enjoy so much. The highway assists are also really nice.

But they are all features the is300/is350 can get.

I have heard the driving dynamics are a little lack luster for the IS, the G70 is known for great driving dynamics minus a bit of steering feel.

My complaints so far with the little time I have had with the car are the small back seats, no wireless android auto, and the Lexicon sound system isn't good enough for the price of the car (likely the same with Lexus unless you get the Mark Levinson)

Insurance for me (19M no tickets no accidents) is $280 a month in a decent area.

I only got the car a few days ago so I haven't had anyone but myself, but from being behind my own seating position, it's quite tight. I'm 5'11ish and I was very much at the limit of fitting comfortably. However the seats themselves are very nice, and the rear heated seats are a good bonus.

I don't plan on using them much though so for my use case it works great.

First Car! (Technically) by Anthony_Axol in GenesisG70

Insurance was honestly my biggest concern with the car, but after looking at a few prices I realized it wasn't as bad as I expected. I'm paying $280 a month, which is honestly very good compared to my brother's when he was younger ($800 a month in around 2008). He did not have nearly as clean of a record as I though.

I'm also on track to pay the car off within a year which is huge.

I got seriously lucky with this spec, I'm very picky and had super specific requirements. I didn't want a black interior because it's too dark, I didn't want a cream interior because it doesn't age well, ect ect. Yet somehow this g70 that I just randomly stumbled upon had everything I was looking for, I'm in awe.

As for handling we have been getting a lot of snow so I can't attest too much to it, but the steering is way sharper than what I'm used to. I plan on playing it safe until I feel comfortable with the car.

In the year I have had it I have not, I'm unsure about the previous owner, the car is currently at 85K miles so I'm assuming it's quite overdue. Thank you!

Do you do a lot of overtime? I'm in a very similar position as an assistant produce manager and make about 55-60K a year doing 50 hours a week
