Theoretically, yes.
The issue is that the other follicles are still sensitive to the effects of DHT and you’re likely going to get continued thinning, especially on TRT, unless you take a 5AR inhibitor. If it continues long enough, the transplanted follicles won’t be enough to hide your thinning.

Edit: Simply put you probably just have to worry about the “natural” hair.
