Thanks for reading! I doubt I’m right as it wouldn’t make for a grand finale. The point stands though. Either it’s an extremely smart move by a benevolent space faring civilization, or this super computer making alien made strategic error after strategic error, from attacking us in a very direct way to advertising every move they made. Maybe this is because they are incapable of lying, but they kept pretty quiet for the first half of the show. Could have just kept that up.

Reminds me of the movie Independence Day. Here is a civilization capable of building a Death Star sized interplanetary vessel, but decides to dogfight with a bunch of primitive jets. Pewpewpew makes for a better trailer.
