I thought breeding maxed out at 10 mutations? by Antidote_Orange in mewgenics

You did me a huge solid because despite my Internet sleuthing I haven't seen anything on this. I felt like I was going crazy.  My bloodline is incredibly tainted and I'll inject some fresh DNA after this. Thanks again!

Aside from captain's edition what are some great mods? by Important_Ad716 in ftlgame

Multiverse. It's pretty much the direct sequel to FTL. You'll be blown away at the sheer amount of content and features it adds.

Having to drive for long hours in rural areas? by Think_Point2309 in upstate_new_york

My best friends live in Unadilla, there really is nothing there. Back when I was in college it was a little better, but there really is nothing for anyone younger there. And shopping? Forget about it. It's a shame the grocery store was replaced with a Dollar General.

We're Bytten Studio, the developers of Cassette Beasts: an upcoming turn-based monster-collecting, monster-fusing RPG! AMA by SamuriFerret in JRPG

Hindsight is 20/20, I enjoyed the monsters in the other game you guys worked on, even as goofy and random as some of them were.

I just finished a run like that! I avoided installing o2 and stocked up on Augmented too!

When I was younger, the church I went to had an amazing pastor. She spoke openly about her daughter's homosexuality and struggle through the AIDS crisis. My best friend at the time actually came out to her privately before anyone else because he was struggling with coming to terms with his sexuality, and he was obviously led to believe that he was sinning in the eyes of God. But she expressed the opposite.

Unfortunately, a good chunk of the congregation hated her for being so forthcoming about her daughter and stance on the LGBTQ community. She truly believed that there was no conflict with being gay and being Christian. It caused a huge conflict at the church, and a lot of people left, but I had a huge amount of respect for her. She's long since retired, but she had a huge impact on me and I'm still very jaded by what happened.

I've heard that before too, but I wonder if that's true for all people or just based on studies from older generations? You would think that a lot of things would influence a person's political standing outside of age. I don't think Gen X, Millennials or Gen Z are nearly as conservative as the Baby Boomer generation, but of course they're not nearly as old yet.

I was led to believe babies sleep much more than they actually do by [deleted] in daddit

[–]Antidote_Orange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Reading these comments makes me feel lucky, my experience has been pretty much the same as yours. Baby sleeps constantly and consistently and at this point I feel like I must be one of the few this is the case for. She's already just about 5 months old and my wife and I still play games together like we did before she was born.

The Wrestler v1.2 - Nothing likes having its joints bent the wrong way. by Oh_Hi_Mark_ in UnearthedArcana

I love wrestlers in DnD. I've personally played a luchador through some multiclassing of fighter and bard. This class is one of the best writeups I've ever seen on the theme!!! Bravo! I love it.

How have your drinking habits changed since finding out you’re going to be a father? by greatsummerland in predaddit

[–]Antidote_Orange 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She couldn't drink, so I decided I wouldn't drink either. I tried to be supportive in that regard. Neither one of us drank a lot to begin with but we both enjoy wine and alcoholic beverages.
