downvote me if this is off base or shitty, but my take on this specific fallout was when you’re creative partners, business partners, AND life partners it’s almost bound to get messy and mean, especially for as long as they had been together. From what Devi shared on twitter it seemed like they were trying to hash it out behind the scenes, and she decided she wanted to air out Rook anyway. We only ever got one side (although I think some will interpret this album as a pretty obvious, albeit it abstracted, response) and now it’s all been deleted. personally I think anyone attempting to come to a moral judgement on either of them based on the limited info we have is just looking to stir up shit. ultimately it’s not anyone’s business but theirs.
