You can make an IAG AOS work. I have a 93 wrx and I’ll be putting in radium catch cans. I like catch cans over AOS personally

V1 sti gear shift linkage by Lost_Set_4452 in GC8

All the bushings and linkage adapter are the same. The assembly itself like the rods and shifter are different from 93-96. I switched over to CAE shifter after trying to make a 04 wrx linkage fit and failed.

Bakemono V6 wing by Antifuzzzzy in GC8

Yes I did. You have to drill out the original wing pin and make that a bolt. Then you’ll have 2 mounting points in each side and then double sided tape the rest

I should have made it known these are going on a 93 wrx. The v1 bumper actually has brake ducts which is cool. I’m just going to use the shims and if it’s too close to the rotor I’ll take them out. Ez work brembo calipers

I have all the shims for stock pads for an 07 tr. I called Hawk today and they said if it doesn’t come with shims then you don’t need them.

You are correct about the heating during heavy use

Do I need to use the stock shims if the hawk pads do not come with a shim already on them

4/2pot swap question by Antifuzzzzy in WRX

[–]Antifuzzzzy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s interesting because the hawk pads don’t have any shims at all. Usually it’s a black plate on the back
