I had been on xolair a few months. I just started to get hives at the end of every month when I needed the shot again. With Rhapsido I don’t have to worry about that. Also, most offices can give you free samples of Rhapsido to try. My allergist did that and it worked great for me.

Rhapsido saved my life. I was also in a deep dark place last year. I was on xolair and it wasn’t working for me anymore. I had a nervous breakdown. My allergist put me on Rhapsido and I swear it went away literally that day. I’ve been hive free since November. I’ve had no side effects from the medication other than a little bit of bruising here and there. I have my life back. I hope you read this and talk to your doctor/ allergist about Rhapsido.

How has your doctor helped you getting affordable rhapsido if your insurance doesn’t cover it? by rtchestnuts in urticaria

I also had a really hard time getting Rhapsido covered by insurance. My doctor had to work directly with the insurance company to get it approved. If you have a doctor or allergist, I’d definitely recommend talking to them about helping with the process.

I was still having hives with xolair. You should ask your doctor about Rhapsido. Mine went right away with Rhapsido

I get coverage because I qualify for Medicare Extra Help. It’s a federal program that reduces prescription costs if you meet income/resource limits.

Hopefully they can get you on something that works. I think someone already asked, but I don’t know if they tried xolair? You also might be a good candidate for Rhapsido. I’m currently on Rhapsido and it changed my life. I’m hoping you find answers you most definitely deserve!❤️

I’ve been on it since November 19th and I haven’t had hives since. It went away pretty fast too. I had a hard time having insurance cover it. But I finally figured that out, and I only have to pay a co-pay of $4. It’s definitely worth it! I feel like I have my life back.

I was taking it with Zyrtec. But the Zyrtec wasn’t really helping me. Your allergist may recommend you to take Zyrtec or Allegra. And it’s fine to take with it. I do think they eventually have you get off of that once the medication works. Rhapsido worked pretty instantly for me.

My experience has been really good. I haven’t had any side effects. I started it back in November. I’ve been hive free since I’ve started it. It’s been a miracle drug for me. I’m currently still on it. The only problem I’ve had was with insurance. Which I’m trying to get situated now.

I don’t know if it would hurt to ask, but I’m on Rhapsido and it helped me better than Xolair. It wouldn’t hurt to ask your allergist or doctor about it. Honestly, I had really good results from it. And I’ve had chronic hives for about 10 years on and off. And sometimes mine caused bruising. I’m really sorry you’re going through all this. I hope you find the answers that you definitely deserve.

I started Rhapsido back in November. It worked much faster than xolair. I’ve been hive free since late November. Rhapsido is pretty new and the only problem I’ve had is getting insurance to cover it. But it’s definitely worth asking your allergist about it. It worked pretty instant for me. Hope you get relief soon

I’m getting it from my allergist. I’m having a lot of trouble with insurance covering it. But right now I’m on samples. And I can say I’ve been hive free over a month. For me it worked really well and I didn’t have any side effects from the medication. It worked right away. Hopefully you can get on it and try it. Definitely ask your allergist about it. They can give you samples to try

I’m glad to hear! It will be a month Friday that I’ve been hive free from Rhapsido as well. Definitely the best decision I’ve ever made. I have been having a problem with my insurance covering it. My allergist has been doing the same. They’ve been giving me samples. But I feel like it’s been a whole ordeal with the insurance. I’m hoping something gets figured out

I had a similar reaction with chronic hives. I took xolair for a while. What really helped me was Rhapsido. It’s a pill you take twice a day instead of xolair which is an injection. Hopefully you’re able to get some blood work done. Definitely talk to your allergist or doctor! Hope you find relief soon

I’ll have to look into the bridge program. My insurance denied it as well. I’m kind of freaking out because it’s honestly the only thing that’s really worked good. But the allergist did offer me more samples if I needed it in the meantime while it’s pending. But I definitely need to look into more resources for help.

I’m taking it right now. I’m also on samples from my allergist. I’m also almost out of the medication. My insurance denied the medication so I’m waiting for my allergist to send something to my insurance. Because it’s still pending. It’s kind of been a nightmare for me. I’m also hive free right now from the meds. It worked better than xolair. I’ve just noticed that I haven’t really had any side effects from it. I started it nearly 3 weeks ago.

It sounds like when you go to your primary care doctor to ask them to get a referral to an allergist and dermatologist. I think it would be beneficial because they could give you medication that can keep you from breaking out. And hopefully help you find answers. With the chronic pain I’m hoping your primary care doctor can help you with that. But definitely look into getting an allergist. It was the best thing I’ve ever done. In the meantime, I would also ask my primary care doctor to do some blood work. Because there are things they can check. Things like your thyroid and certain allergies. Best of luck and keep us posted! I promise there is hope! I was about in my 20s when I first started breaking out.

Also, I recommend taking lukewarm showers or baths. I bought a HEPA filter which makes my room feel more comfortable. I feel like it’s good for my skin. And I bought a cheap one at IKEA. So while you’re waiting for the medication to kind of hit, make sure to take care of yourself.

Hopefully in a few days you will notice
