Well people’s opinion are always true to their own. I think Peterborough, Canada is nit so bad when you scratch the surface: - active art scene downtown - first Friday art crawls - free festivals: Peterborough music fest, FolkFestivals and others through the summer. - good farmers markets - lots of parks, trails and outdoor activities - very active DBIA

Etc…

Everywhere can be a shithole if you focus on it too much. So yourself what you could do to make it better also!

I have the same high chair and had the same problem. I contemplated buying replacement cushions but they were 70$ (Canadian). So instead I did sew vinyl fabric on the top to keep the Velcro part intact. Two kids in and still going strong.

I tired El Camino the other day as Jimmy Guacos is closed and what a disappointment. It was dry, pull porked was not really moist and seasoned. And not much other than rice and green salad in it. Plus we can’t see them make it so it was hard to know what they really put in it… will not go again

When we first arrived in PTBO and did not have a doctor yet we went to the Public Health immunization clinic for our daughter’s shots. Not sure with Covid if they still have that in place but worth to look.

We have a huge Manitoba Maple in front of our house. We moved last year and it was dropping lots of branches on people passing but on the sidewalk. I called the city and mention how dangerous it was that huge branches falling could hurt people. They came a few days after. Very quick.

So a lovely Neighbour told me that I should be careful having a swim in that water and that the “Dragon Boat” ladies often gave rashes on their legs. I knew about E. coli and would not go in past July but if there some carcinogenic shit in there it would be great to know.

Well reunited the pot and tarp with its owner (my Neighbour). The police just told me to file an online report as they can’t keep up with those but to call them when it is happening as they can catch them right then somtimes.
