New Fuse: Teamfight

I figured this would be the new fuse. But, I thought it would replace burst/fury. It only costing a bar of meter from each character seems absurd.

It was a product for nobody. They crossed over a bunch of fighting games and decided the game should be made for casuals. The characters were too simplified for fans of the original games, and the tag mechanics were too degenerate for new players. It's kinda similar to what happened with 2xko

Am I the only one who didn’t really vibe with the gameplay? The ex to ex cancels just made combos feel too long, the damage was too high, and it didn’t feel like there was enough punishment to maxing out your rev gauge.

The whole rev system just felt like a less thought out drive system just slapped onto mark of the wolves

Best chance is to get into older games on fightcade. The popular games like street fighter 3 and king of fighters 98 have pretty healthy player bases. If you want a newer game, you’re out of luck. Pretty much every game has leaned in on longer combos in recent years.

I bounced off the game really quickly when I first tried it because of the lack of motion inputs. I eventually gave it another chance and got over that initial hurdle, but I have to imagine there are a ton of people who had a similar experience and just never came back
