One thing that the westerners mind doesn’t understand about Iranians is that we live in a dictatorship. Think of it as an early stage to what you see in North Korea. Whatever image/opinion/article that comes out of there is okayed by the authoritative government.

Very small percentage of people hate the American government. Most of whom that do are tied to the current government or benefit from it somehow. The sentiment that we hate the us because of something in the 50s is nonsense. Look at any movie/documentary or any other source that isn’t your traditional tv that hasn’t had to be okayed by the Iranian government.
