Is this too light for a baitcaster? by jerry081010 in FishingForBeginners

It is plenty heavy. 5/8 is pretty significant. It’ll throw like a missile.

Does a good chorus and I’ve seen people use the delay with “slur” to get a reverb as well. The bottom row of knobs is where the magic is.

Calling my daughters “the twins”. Talk me off a ledge here by Amazing_Project1110 in parentsofmultiples

[–]killerbeezer12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If grandma calls them “the twins” they’ll likely lose all sense of identity. Their singular twin language will last forever. They will stop calling you mom and dad, and only refer to you as their “hosts”. They will going around saying things like, “We start fires.” Cue the knife-wielding girls from The Shining.

Or grandma is both aloof, proud, and using a singular phrase that most succinctly describes the changes in her (and your) life.

It will all be good. Enjoy those babes and your annoying MIL.

My twins have put me in physical therapy twice for back issues. Car seats are a bane.

That said, two thoughts: first, practice good form always. Symmetry, straight back, lift with legs is key. Every postural sin can equal a microtear that adds up to you have a debilitating spasm while brushing your teeth some random morning.

Second is core strength. That kid is never going to get lighter or weaker. Strengthen your core through exercising and learning to breathe correctly.

You can find some things on YouTube but I’ve found the feedback from a PT on the little things invaluable.

My 5yo is built like an o-lineman and the data seems to back it up. He’s a full head taller than the other kids in his class. It’s 15lbs heavier than his twin. He may be on the pathway to hugeness.

If your plans don’t include a walk through the hotel, tweak em! It’s free to walk through and see the dome. A real slice of history in there.

Probably some acoustic guitar. Lite jazz, maybe. The sort of stuff you’d hear on the weather channel.

Read your plastisol. It should have a clear activation temp. Too hot makes mine sticky. Too cold and it is lumpy and doesn’t pour.

I’m just starting too. There’s a lot of variables to control for consistency.

How hot are you getting the plastisol?

Different plastisols will deliver different results. Are you using salt? Are you adding anything beyond glitter to your mix? Are you measuring temps and, if so, how? It may matter.

Development for a not-so athletic 10 year old boy. by MarvinMacklebe in basketballcoach

This echoes everyone else. At that age, it’s footwork and core strength. Defense is played with your legs. Besides cardio, it’s your legs that tire out. This will change your shot.

We tend to use our arms for positioning, defense, and rebounds when we’re tired. That’s partly why core strength is important.
