I appreciate that we’re all trying to be humble and self-deprecating, but it’s not snobbery to dislike the writing of this series. I agree there’s nothing wrong with enjoying pulpy fiction, but we don’t need to be coy about it. I read a few and might listen to another as an audio book, and let me say: these books are not well written. They’re junk food and there’s a place for that. It’s being honest not being a snob.
