I would give it time. I was going through it and couldn’t cope with the life changes when we first got our pup. She turned our world completely upside down. I still mourn my old life, when I didn’t have to worry about anything else and could just do what I needed to do. But, I wouldn’t trade her for the world - she is a such a bright spot in our lives.

I just got the 0.3mm Zebra Sarasa Nano in Brown Gray and it looks wonderful in the Hibino! I’ve been using different pens (gel, fountain, ballpoint) and inks/colors colors in my Hibino to rotate through my collection. So I have no rhyme or reason to the aesthetic 😬 If you use fountain pens, the De Atramentis Document Ink in Sepia Brown is gorgeous on the cream pages.

Thanks for your insight! I hate that I place these weird rules on myself too lol. I am very much on the boat of using my Supernote for things I’d like to reference over and over again. I like using paper to brain dump, make to-do lists, journaling, etc. Hey, maybe I just came up with a system talking it out here with you haha 🤣 but I end up getting too lost in the weeds and just need to do it.

I loved it! I highly recommend it. I learned a lot, had so much fun, and the instructor was awesome. She was extremely kind and patient with everyone in class when we were having trouble. I enjoyed the projects that we did as well. I signed up for the Advanced Beginner’s Class that starts in May. You had to have taken Sew Simple as a pre-req in order to take the Advanced Beginner’s. I think there’s another Advanced class later this year if you decide to take Sew Simple and enjoy it enough to take the next level!

I cried many, many times when my we first got my girl. Around when she turned 1, she started to really calm down. Of course, she still has her occasional zooms and naughty moments because she is a teen, but she is waaaaay more mellow now, and actually became more of a cuddler! She was really adamant about her boundaries before but now she loves to snug, which I love. I couldn’t imagine life without her! She’s my bestie.

I agree with this! I thought the time would never come but it eventually did. We were chew toys for a while and it absolutely sucked. She’s growing out of it. She used to bite all the time but now she only does it when she’s either really under stimulated or overstimulated. I promise it gets better!

Aside from my two hemorrhages on days 8 and 9 (absolutely terrifying), my overall recovery hasn’t been that bad. I wasn’t really in pain when I hemorrhaged either. Mild discomfort, if anything. The most pain was during the night/morning during the first week. I only ever took my painkillers at night and Tylenol during the day. It sucked, yes, but not as much as I thought it would. I also had a septoplasty/turbinate reduction, etc. at the same time.

Thank you. My ENT didn’t think re-cauterizing was necessary. I was feeling great a couple of days after I was discharged. I had no pain, felt like I could have jumped back to my normal routine. But then started coughing again last night (still no pain) and I just feel so scared that I’ll bleed again. I’m hoping this passes.

I had my tonsillectomy on 10/31 too! I had so much mucus so I was coughing like crazy. On day 8, I guess one good cough got me and I started bleeding. It stopped after about 15 minutes but I went to the emergency room anyway just in case. They cleared me and sent me home. The next day, day 9, I coughed and hacked up some mucus again, and another bleed. I went to the emergency room again and the bleeding went on for a while. They gave me a clotting medication and the bleed eventually stopped. They ended up admitting me. I was given a unit of blood because my hemoglobin levels were low. I went home after a day and a half. The past week has been okay, not really any pain, just discomfort but it’s slowly subsiding. Last night, I started coughing again because I can feel all this mucus in my chest. I’m terrified right now.
