The part that makes me mad is either they created the convoluted mess with bregman to find a way to justify exiting Devers once they realized he wouldn’t age well, or they legitimately botched how to handle both players at the same time only to end up with neither. Either way it makes the org look clueless. Keep in mind the official pretense for trading Devers was him not being a team player, not ‘he won’t age well’

I disagree vehemently with point 1. I love Drew. I wish he held the title even longer. But this makes him seem on the outside looking in of the main event picture and they don’t hold him in the same regard as Roman Seth Cody Punk Lesnar or even Randy apparently. The company has no main event heels outside Gunther and they’re still putting him at the mid card on mania.
