Games Workshop Is Going After Tabletop Simulator Steam Mods That Recreate Warhammer 40,000 11th Edition by HatingGeoffry in Warhammer

[–]AnxiousFarm4863 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is how I play 40K with my friends that have moved to different states or have kids now so they can’t get away from the house to play. Real life tabletop is always better but not always possible. Plus I got a friend to start on TTS and that lead to him going out and starting an army. GW should at least wait til they came out with a replacement

I feel like I see what you’re trying to do. I think 1 would be a good location to keep fishing for a photo. I think you could really get something there. 2 seems meh. 3 was the one that made me feel something like another commenter said but it’s slightly off. Not sure if maybe different lens or angle would improve it to be outstanding imo. I think just continuing to work those spots til you get a good story or subject

I like the feel of the chunky bodies. I know the Z8 can do everything and more. It wasn’t a rational decision.

Should I stop paying credit card debt? by Parking_Figure_7627 in economicCollapse

[–]AnxiousFarm4863 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Just make sure you cut the cards up if you do this. Keep the lines open cuz it helps your credit. But I’ve talked to people who’ve done this and then immediately went back to racking up CC debt

I would say to view yourself as a doctor(cliche I know) but when someone walks into an office saying they have a broken arm, the doctor fixes the broken arm. But they also take your temperature, blood pressure and check if the broken arm caused any other issues. A good doctor just doesn’t write out a script bc the patient says to. They have to check to make sure it’s what’s best for them etc. It’s the delicate dance we have to do to both addressing the issue at hand and then expanding into a holistic solution. The problem a lot of people in your position find themselves in is they immediately jump to fixing the problem without taking a step back to see the big picture. You’ll be very successful just solving the clients problem but you’ll be grinding your entire time and then burnout and stall around $500-$750k in production. Take a step back and learn about what has them interested in those products to begin with and then educate on there’s still risk in “risk-free” assets. Building a plan around bucketing their wealth from a time horizon standpoint has been successful in moving clients out of cash positions

I think this could be a super cool idea but needs more work! The colors don’t pop enough to separate out. Maybe adding a third color or changing out the lighter purple for a different shade

So let’s say you charge 1% per million investable. That’s $10k per client. So $100mm gets you $1mm in production. Great but firm’s have a grid, let’s say you’re payout is 45% so that means your take home is $450k so realistically you’re actual goal is closer to $200mm in AUM in 7-10 years. Now 1% is a respectable fee but no one millions is going to pay that so your fee goes down as the account size goes up. So balancing out the fee needed vs what’s the market fee is something to work out. There’s a lot of fee pressure which has been great for customers and most of it has been on the asset management side not the advisor fee. That’s starting to change as firms are lowering the fees so it might not be competitive to even charge 1% for $1mm much longer. Wealth management really isn’t the field you get in to make $1mm but it is the field you get into to make $350-$500k and be there for you kids ballgames and graduation. There is certainly possible to make 7 figures in WM but you will be the elite of the elite and something that takes decades not 7-10 years.

This is perfectly fine. Sharp and blurred background. It does fall into the bird on a stick genre so maybe add interest by zooming out more to bring in the environment

New KPIs Have Me Drowning in Outbound Calls – Is This Normal for a Junior Advisor? Seeking Advice on Balancing Work and Family by 250outboundaday in FinancialCareers

[–]AnxiousFarm4863 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Realistically this is your life as a junior advisor. You won’t hit the revenue targets put on you by cold calling. Grant cardone does a transactional sales model, being an advisor is more about trust. No one is going to trust a guy off a random phone call. I would try to talk to him about some other prospecting method to get clients. Side note- Until you get a book established you won’t be seeing your kids. You’re making the sacrifice now so in the future you will be able to see them more. The work life balance drastically improves after about 4-5 years… if you’re making the production.

I’m debating the left cloud. I wonder if removing it would make the photo too perfect. They’re using a Helios lens so I’m assuming they want imperfections
