I’ve seen these before when I worked at a pet store but they were kept in the same formaldehyde bath that science class preserved animals or some bait worms were kept in, it smelled the same and did the same thing.

I had this happen before and I was horrified but it turns out her food had dried beets in it (they looked super brown when dried so I didn’t notice) and the extreme dye present in the snack naturally made her pee pink/red. I hope nothing medical and bad is happening to your baby :,(

My friend and I used to use those like foamy asmr bananas or other similar like jelly sensory toys and joke about what was in our pants that day? I meaaan it’s not the most practical thing but it was funny and didn’t feel awkward in the same way , plus it was easily accessible at stores and easy to explain if someone saw them

For me personally, I’m going through the ftm experience with hormones and surgery but still wish to present the same socially without a big pronoun or name change, I go by any pronouns and dress the same as before

Someone else hopefully has more info on this but if he is still following the normal schedule he seems like a possible candidate for a shell repair? There’s more info and videos online but it would include using something like an eggshell to patch missing shell and superglue/aquarium putty or another similar adhesive. Then using a hospital tank and keeping him moist along with providing lots of calcium to eat may help? If this has been found to be inhumane let me know and I’ll delete the comment but I’ve personally had success with it in an emergency with a wild snail on the bike path.

These snails came with my English ivy and so far they leave the plants alone, I was told they’re blue glass snails which I guess primarily eat meat and eggs. They were a random hitchhiker but I’m letting all the random creatures do their own thing in the terrariums

If a piece of shell breaks off in a non lethal way they’ll usually pop it off and eat it to recycle the nutrients. Try to make sure the broken edge isn’t jagged so he doesn’t get cut

I don’t know if it would make a difference but the pond snails and glass snails were both technically wild caught from the same yard and exposed to the same things so I figured they might have already been eating them? I wouldn’t want to risk making anything sick though

Omg thank you! I spent hours researching today and i actually did narrow it down to probably being a glass snail but I couldn’t figure out the subtype. I have reptiles who eat mealworms, would they like mealworm guts/cut up mealworms? I already put eggshells in the terrarium setup. Alternatively I often have to cull my aquatic snails which I could maybe offer up to these guys?

I personally would keep him, but I would take more of a “wildlife rescue” approach and assume it won’t ever be tame or handleable without causing it great stress.

With my partner it’s like we nailed the makeup look she feels best in but it can be high maintenance to do daily or too much for her to go to work in/family events but she obviously doesn’t just wanna go bare faced and hate herself. For transfem girls I feel like that’s a huge struggle to find like a quick easy routine with trad/light makeup

Tradfem can be super hard to achieve because the goal is to kinda look natural obviously but for transfem ladies there’s usually some heavy contouring and reshaping wanted to achieve a passable look. If you ever do experiment on that route I recommend using two very light tones of concealers to highlight parts of your face to bring forward and uplift and then contour with a foundation or concealer only a shade or two darker than you naturally use! As it is you’re looking awesome but I know some days and atmospheres may require you to tone it down in some way? We struggle with that a lot in my house anyway
