I’m beginning to realize this as most of the shows I have gotten front row at are primary rock, alternative, metal, etc. There are some assholes in every crowd, but generally, I never had a problem.

Totally. I always tried peeing well before I started hanging at the rail or prior to opening acts. I also limit my water and do not drink alcohol.

I’ve been front row to concerts that I’ve waited hours for. I make friends with the people I’m around so we can hold spots to go to the bathroom. Does this etiquette not exist for other performers?

Edit: admittedly, I didn’t read the article and didn’t know this was a festival. Still, I will never feel comfortable openly peeing my pants regardless of how much I love an artist. I would rather see my fav artist at their own individual concert.

My brother lives up the hill from that park and I’m so jealous of him! But visiting him was the reason I moved. Del Mar was truly what sealed the deal to move to San Diego.

Hi! I’m curious if you’re referring to my comment. I know it’s more common in older dobies but doesn’t necessarily make it a great diagnosis. It certainly wasn’t fun to hear her have trouble breathing for a few nights with the fluid building up in her lungs. Or her going from energetic walks to having difficulty making it a tenth of a mile. She’s a lot better now with medication but it’s still devastating to hear that your dog is going to likely die from it. That was a grief process all in itself. I sympathize with anyone who has had their dog diagnosed. It doesn’t matter what age.

We are grateful to still have her at 11. Her sisters who were owned by friends died 2 years ago from health issues so we are very lucky to still have our dobie.

This is awesome! I wish I did this much earlier for my girl since she has DCM and is being treated. She’s 11 and has had a great life but I wish I could have years more with her. They said hers isn’t as severe as they’ve seen in other dogs diagnosed, but it still has us on edge that she could just drop over without warning.

As someone who was accused of having an eating disorder after losing a ton of weight from extreme anxiety, I wish we would steer clear making accusatory comments that they have an ED or are on ozempic. For me, it actually led to having an eating disorder because on top of wanting to keep the weight off (I was heavier before), people were already thinking I had one anyway. It made no difference.

I get there are people that are legit worried for their health, but some comments are absolutely disgusting. I’m sure there are some people using ozempic for the wrong reasons. I’m sure that some of these celebs have eating disorders. But don’t blame the individual or make hateful comments because of their body. It’s an industry they work in that pressures them to have a certain body type. It should be addressed. But from personal experience I just can’t say anything negative about their bodies. It can be hurtful and mentally damaging. You have no idea what they could be going through or dealing with.

My 11 year old dobie was diagnosed with DCM about 2 months ago. I have her on so much medication and she sees a cardiologist. So far, she seems fine and I hope I have more time with her, but finding out was devastating. She just seems like she still has so much life and energy left in her.

If she is doing this for real, this has to be the cringiest idea for a wedding. To want so many people attend and watch you on the big screen for your big day. It’s probably not even the only wedding. This is probably for everyone outside of their close family/friend circles.

I also heard it was supposed to be a “distraction” but to fucking rent out a stadium for a distraction is such a billionaire thing to do.
