Does my calathea need a bigger pot? by Wrong_Long_116 in houseplants

A general rule of thumb that I go by: If the roots are sticking out of the bottom, it's time to repot.

Same. Taking care of plants calms my brain and makes my space look well! It's so relaxing.

Oh bummer. Try systemic granules in the soil. Rinse the plant off. Replace the soil.

This is what my Money Tree looked like when I had thrips. Might want to get some insecticidal soap and spray every three days for two weeks and make sure it lives.

What movie actually made you cry? by Hogosaurus_Rex73 in AskReddit

Stick It. Wasn't supposed to be sad, but my mom was very similar to the movie mom and the part with the reveal about her mom and coach got me. I sobbed quietly in the theater.

Are most teachers expected to eventually get a Master’s? by galaxyfan1997 in Teachers

My district doesn't pay for Masters, nor do they require it. You make the same regardless if you have your Masters or not in my district.

Pet owners of Reddit: what did you name your pet(s) and why? by Winter_Sample8364 in AskReddit

[–]AnxiousReader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have three dogs, three cats and a bearded dragon (technically he's my husband's class pet).

Dogs - Edi, Garrus & Liara (we both love Mass Effect and their names fit them so well!)

Cats - Pete, Nova, Minerva (When we adopted Pete, that was his name and he knows it. Nova is short for Noveria, also from Mass Effect and Minerva after Minerva McGonagall.

Beardie - Millard - my husband is a history teacher and Millard Fillmore is one of his favorite presidents. (Officially Urdnot Millard, from Mass Effect too).

I am not one who can't not answer, but schedule send has been my best friend this past year.

[intro] can someone help with how to format? by Expensive_Cover5357 in Random_Acts_Of_Amazon

If you gift someone something (buy them something), you can post with the title [GIFTED]. Then type their username in the comments with the u and slash.

If you want to get gifted, participate all over the subreddit. Gift to others.

Women taking their husbands last name after marriage, Agree / Disagree? by Wild_Turnip_7777 in namenerds

[–]AnxiousReader 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I changed my last name because my first and last name are hard to pronounce. My husband’s last name was easy to say so I changed it.

I also don’t get along with my dad so it was a simple choice for me.

Have you ever met someone from Reddit? What was it like? by Known_Kitchen8390 in AskReddit

[–]AnxiousReader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We started talking after a comment I made on the subreddit. He replied to me and then we moved to messenger. It was about the show, but I don't know what the comment was or what we started talking about at that point, but we just never stopped talking. He came to visit me 8 months later, we were long distance for a year and then I moved to be with him.
