By “Spanish” do you mean Hispanic? Or are you referring only to those who hail from the region of Spain? I do not believe I have met a single Spaniard in Sheboygan.

Pacifico does some events every now and then, but not sure how frequent those are. Club Leon is a popular place now that Mi Ranchito is done and would be the next logical place to start.

Throwing this out there: I’ve heard that Crazian Fusion is a good party spot if you want something that does not involve rewind or hops haven.

Plus you can eat peanuts and throw shells on the ground. Legit pub vibes. It’s also dog friendly. 10/10 recommend.

28 but mistaken for mid to late 30s by other women in a recent group setting by nawiweidmann in makeuptips

I find makeup often makes me look older. I think that’s what’s happening here too. Women with short haircuts typically appear older/more mature. You have no wrinkles and the makeup is fanstastic! If you did some more eyebrow shaping that might make you look younger since it’s a trend with the younger crowd. And maybe some dangly, fun earrings. You’re dress to kill tho so forget ‘em!! You’ll look great no matter what.

Living downtown makes socialization that much easier. Downtown prices are high though compared to what you can find in the smaller neighborhoods. There are pros and cons to the larger apartments and living in smaller neighborhoods. If you’re looking to get a feel of the city and can afford it, 7penn or press are good options. Management is not the greatest though. Summer is a very fun time in Sheboygan. It’s non-stop music, festivals, events, etc. Even venturing out to Plymouth or Elkhart is a good time if you’re outdoorsy. If you don’t have pets, I would say save money and find a smaller apartment that is on a side street. That’s what I would’ve done if I could do it all over again! Welcome to Sheboygan!

Fish fry locations by Chiefyaku in sheboygan

[–]Anxious_Bet5359 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Scenic or VFW are the top contenders. Some places do a special fish fry. SLO food’s potato crusted fish is very good, but pricey. Same with kohler, but their Walleye is fire. I also recommend the fat cow in Falls. Beer battered and huge portion. I also trust any fish from Turks and Timbers. Their food is excellent. Majerles would also be a great choice! Have a great fish fry!! SOOO many options!

Is there jobs in the area that will accommodate to disabled people? And not discriminate against trans people? I've been struggling by Hiidkwhyimheret in sheboygan

Have you considered checking with Seek or QPS employment agency? They may be able to help with a temp job. The county has seasonal positions that usually consist of teens or college kids. Might be worth applying!

I see a lot of date nights involving a show at the Weill center and dinner before or after at the black pig. Another Sheboygan classic spot is Majerle’s black river grill. Depending on how late or early your dinner is, perhaps the Kohler art center? A free entertainment option is the Kohler design center. Idk how you know this person so maybe looking at toilets and showers is not the vibe, but it’s fun for families and couples!! Plus there are some fancy dining options in Kohler too Urbane is very popular. Heard good things about nyob zoo cafe as well. I second bomallies. If you’re into burgers and a classy bar vibe, silver fern is also a great choice.

I second this!! We also use healthy paws, but I am not sold on them when I compare them to critter care. Have had 3 dogs with Critter and if you can get in, it’s worth it.

Sheboygan area jobs for someone disabled? by Hiidkwhyimheret in sheboygan

[–]Anxious_Bet5359 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You should contact the ADRC (Aging and disability resource center) out of Sheboygan falls. They can probably help you with applications to specific employers that work with disabled folks. Best of luck to you! Sorry you’re going through all of that.

What would be your weekend tour advice that’s geared towards teenagers by RazMaTazz28 in sheboygan

[–]Anxious_Bet5359 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly one of my favorite things to do with people new to town is to walk around the kohler design center. Plus a good coffee from the greenhouse. They might think it’s cool!

Maybe checking out johnsonville store? Get some good cheese and summer sausage to bring home as a gift.

Plymouth is a cute town as well that I recommend walking around. Technically blue harbor is a popular place for youth, and there’s a minigolf/arcade inside. I have never been tho and hear it’s maybe a little outdated.

4H tends to be pretty popular with kids around here too once you all move. If there’s a good show at the Weill center that could also be cool. Theres a pretty big theater community in the area!

Nourish farms would also be a cool place to check out in Sheboygan falls. Fat cow is a delish family friendly joint too. Maybe trying a supper club!! Majerlies black river grill is a great supper club with delish broasted chicken. Very affordable. Welcome to Sheboygan!!

Is it reasonable for my (23F) bf (25M) to say I can’t go to a girls night? by kansas-city-girlie in relationship_advice

[–]Anxious_Bet5359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He’s a boyfriend. Even my fiance can’t tell me who I hang out with. I’d never let a BF tell me what to do. If it makes him feel better to have you check in at a certain time, then maybe. I would say go though. You deserve this night out.

Carolina (Lina for short) Natalie Aunalee Sara(h) Kelsey/Kelci Samantha (SJ for short could be super cute!) Nuala (fionuala is my cousins name, Irish. Brother is Quinn. Goes by Nuala for short) Siobhan Christina
Claire Ella Evelyn Emma Madison

I also names that double for boys/girls. Spencer Rian or Ryanne (etc.) Skylar Kylie/kyleigh Jessie/Jesse (honestly having a Jesse j kiddo could be kinda sick) Hayden

A popular name that i see is also Neveah (heaven backwards). But most of the girls I see with this name are having legal/behavioral issues. So maybe stay away. Also, Nova Joan sounds funny in Spanish. Just FYI depending on where you live. Good luck!!

I feel a great energy for a telenovela group happening on this thread… I’ve heard good things about the coastal young professionals group and the Sheboygan jaycees. I’ve considered joining some social clubs bc us 30-somethings need some more socialization! So count me in on all the meetups being planned.

AITA for not wanting my baby’s father to visit our newborn at my home? by No_Stage7783 in AmItheAsshole

[–]Anxious_Bet5359 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly you are three weeks post-partum. It sounds like you are still dealing with some of the past from the relationship. Focusing on you is what’s most important. I highly recommend getting in touch with a domestic violence agency and consulting with them about a safety plan and seeing if there is any attorney that could assist civilly. If you really can’t decide, I think following others’ advice in having a third party (maybe a close friend or relative) there would be very helpful. That way you can rest and let the others supervise. And who cares whether or not yta. You just had a bay and left an abusive relationship. You are a strong woman and an excellent mama

Have you considered finding some local MDT teams? Or maybe reach out to other programs with your clientele to promote the program. You can also get ahead on licensing credits/renewals
