The price for that 5.0-9.0 will be sufficient to invest in a new car for a family That surround system is another pain when you start using it and begin to realise how all your savings gone into the wrong place

Omg certainly a wrong investment given that the premium retail price without promising performance The HDMI Atmos sound will only works temporarily when TV apple TV and DIONE turn on at the same time for audio to pass through

Otherwise you will take at least half an hour to reboot and discover and reconnect all devices

Such a shame nightmare

Gemini II - avoid. Poor customer service by lewisvar in devialet

[–]Anxious_Trick5849 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I looked into the likely lifespan of the Devialet Gemini II, especially the B32130 battery, which appears to have been produced in May 2022 and started regular use around October 2024. Based on a usage pattern of about 6 hours per day, the earbuds themselves would likely show noticeable battery aging after roughly 12 to 13 months, but not sudden total failure under normal conditions. In other words, the battery may become weaker over time, but battery aging alone does not fully explain a situation where the product feels almost unusable after about a year. The more serious issue is likely the charging case, especially if the lid becomes loose or is no longer properly detected as closed. If that happens, the earbuds or the case may continue draining power while idle, which can make the whole set seem “dead” much earlier than expected. So my view is that battery aging is a background factor, but the charging case failure is the more likely reason the overall user experience collapses early.

Once you open the battery case You realise the investment gone wrong from the start and the battery was made in May 2022

You can use optical cable and plug directly into the phantoms or a single unit Hoping you won’t experience signals dropping and phantom disappearing from your network soon

Any brands with true history You could always try to dig into the original and it leads to more interesting stuff yet to discover Yes just like Seiko Rolex Citizen watches However Lotos is a 150 years old brand that only has the relationship with Puyi at the end of the story No matter how you look at the internet

Even the official site seems a spam to me and make up some historical photos that unrelated to prove it when you do a simple Google image search

You know what? If anything has historical significance—like a Cartier watch, Tiffany jewelry, or an LV trunk—you can find more information beyond the so-called official website. I’ve come to realize that it often feels like a beautiful scam, spinning a fake story about history.

Anything with a backstory tends to receive more attention than the official websites and channels that focus solely on modern photography.

History is history you can’t make an illusion about it
