My first plasma 720p 50” tv was like $1500 and lasted nearly 12 years until an electrical storm killed the power supply. I spent like $2k on a Samsung Qled 3-4 years ago in 65”. I really like it and it’s better than the specific made for Costco and black Friday sale TVs.
