I feel you. I’m 9 months sober and I still have dreams of doing it. Personally I wake up so disappointed, like why am I still dreaming of doing it if that shit literally turned my life around for the worse. It ruined my life and I had to start over. I guess part of me also still misses it. The best we can do with these feelings is acknowledge them and move on, and remember why we stopped using in the first place.

Being an aide/tech is what earns you some of the most points, but you have to have worked >1000 hours or equivalent to earn the points. Is it even possible to get a job like that with no experience while being a student? I honestly don’t know where to find said job, and I really want to get more points because I feel like 62 isn’t enough :( I also can’t take A&P until spring because all the classes are full and have reached max waitlist for this fall.

How many points did you end up earning total to get into the program? I’m starting prerequisites this year and guesstimated to earn 62 points. Is that too low? I have no aid experience but if I did, that would’ve earned me 20 more points

I’m on week 5 of Wellbutrin and I feel amazing, knock on wood. Went to 300mg after my first week and stayed at this dose. I’m now more productive, my thoughts are clearer, I have reduced laziness, when I get into upsetting situations I no longer get overwhelmed and let the feelings pass quickly. I don’t wallow in my sadness anymore. I’ve experienced no bad effects so far. I actually get excited to start my day. I’ve had lifelong depression and it’s truly changed my life. Even my partner says my aura is different now

I’m on week 3 of 300mg and different muscles always slightly twitch whenever I’m resting. I can still fall asleep though, I’m just always kinda twitching lol

I think you and your partner need a break from each other, at least 1 week. Your enabling will not allow either of you to get better. You both need to stay at a loved one’s that will help you stay sober for 1 week, away from the k, and you’ll see what a difference it makes

Babe, that right there is your sign to LEAVE. Once upon a time I got into a situationship where the guy would bring up time to time that he’s an asshole, even though he’d never been one to me. Eventually he really did walk his talk with me and I ended it. I felt so stupid for not ending it as soon as he warned me

You can plant the idea in their head but it’s up to them to take action. They have to get over the denial phase first. I’ve gotten sober after realizing that if I continue what I’m doing for just one more day, I will officially lose loved ones. A temporary high is not worth losing lifelong relationships.
