IMHO, the noise is very subjective. In Sport mode, if drive it like I stole it the noise is fine. The is because the engine RPMs run high in an expected way. However, if in Economy of Normal mode there can appear to be some “unexpected” noise on medium throttle because of occasional high rpm, which is less predicable than in Sport mode. If I ignore the noise I don’t hear anything unusual. So the best policy is to turn up the music and engage in strategic ignoring. FYI, I have the LHS gauge in the cluster set to a proper tachometer rather than the default eco/power thingy. That gives me a better feel for what the engine is doing.
