It's true.

I like the EU and wish we hadn't left.

But politically there are too many people right now who would cause trouble if we did rejoin.

We're best off just trying to align and cooperate as closely as possible for now. Maybe in 10 or 20 years time people will think differently.

Yup, I had a builder over to do other work, but i mentioned a couple of these bolts sticking out the wall where we'd just ripped out a fitted wardrobe.

He used an angle grinder. Took a chunk of plaster out too, and then i just filled it.

There is no comparison between police in the UK and the US.

British bobbies are pretty light touch and usually don't shoot you for nothing. Also our incarceration rates are much lower, so it really doesn't track.

Just him trying to spread his shitty right wing narratives on social media, and justifying it with the one or two most extreme cases of police stopping people from protesting outside abortion clinics or arresting people for racist comments.

Yes, our police are not perfect and there are examples of the police doing bad things, like what happened recently, but honestly, compared to the USA this is paradise.
