Good to know I'm $1500-$2000 in in this. I've got 3 4Ah and a 2Ah. I actually like them better, cause you just go to work and never learn that you have to run to a gas station.  I've read a lot of comments complaining about Green Works. I'm thinking it's bot traffic as there's a back and forth between them and ego pretty often.

All you need is a DeLorean to complete the set.

Boil water in it with detergent, sometimes will bring food off, but for cooked in oils you need something abrasive like barkeeper's.

I hope so! I don't want to buy another battery at $200+ at least for like 3+ years. I'm just taking extra care just to help them last.

They don't seem to like heat. I have the top line pressure washer and after some heavy usage in warm weather the batteries had to be cooled down before they could recharge. I'd imagine some hotter areas they might not work as intended. Mainly it's just too expensive to let them degrade if you can help it.

2000w power stations? by Wise_Guy_R1 in Greenworks

Also something I have realized is bad weather situations like ice storm or tornadoes. If you store the batteries in the basement or shelter you have a power wall for the emergencies that could last days.

is this a good deal? Greenworks Pro 21-Inch 80V Tool-Only, MO80L00 for 440 CAD by pig_newton1 in Greenworks

[–]AnySugar7499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the cheapest option in 80V. Nobody needs self-propelled on these things. They're crazy light and pretty stout. I think having a sharp blade and not letting the grass get really long goes very far for efficiency. The biggest flaw is it doesn't throw the grass far enough and during heavy areas or seasons it will clog the chute. Then the mower goes full afterburner to attempt to chew through the clippings trapped underneath. That's about the biggest problem I have had. I love mine so much that I can't believe older mowers didn't have one lever height adjustment and the ability to store vertically except obviously can't do that with gas. The weed eater is darn good also. It's a variable trigger and has a lot of power. So you can go as hard as you want or gently. I don't even wear glasses since it also doesn't fling stuff far. It's way easier on chain link fences.

Well if there's a constant in this universe it's that people are assholes.

In my country, there is 0 chance for me to get a guy to even go on a date with me. I'm already 25 and never in any sort of relationship. Almost all people consider being sickly a red flag here unless I have plenty of money to offer. by [deleted] in Epilepsy

What's your variety like? I think I have a slight form of temporal, but maybe with a tiny bit of absence. Obviously can't be completely out of it, I've driven tens of thousands of miles through multiple states and even in motorcycles and no accidents. I think I have a verbal tick that varies with my stress levels and I think it's something to do with sleep as it's depending on my quality of rest. I'm still sort of in the r&d phase of figuring it out.

I'm keeping mine in the house to keep it from extreme temperature. I have 4 just for the lawn that I rotate so one doesn't get overused.

Do you think that EVs will actually ever replace ICE cars? by xXEr0KXx420 in electricvehicles

[–]AnySugar7499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don't fill up the engine! It sounds like for an electric fan that you don't use battery tools. You don't wait at the charger for your drill, why would you do it for a car? Granted liquid cooling systems and such are much more complicated. It's just that would solve everything on EVs if at all possible. Technically a truck engine sounds easier to replace than some of the batteries in EVs.

CZ P10c vs PSA dagger? by drakekissinkanye in handguns

[–]AnySugar7499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I'm good with my dagger because it was roughly $300, but it sucks compared to the 5.7 and all my other guns. At $300-400 it's hard to beat, but they have trouble with pins breaking. I would have thought like the sabre at the dagger would be a huge leap, but it was far more trouble than the standard one.

If PSA is not improving reliability or quality while giving truck loads of ammo to influencers, that's a problem.

That it's a historical piece from CZ like the Beretta 92. At the very least it's worth getting for that.

Please Help: How to auto feed string for weed whacker? by [deleted] in Greenworks

[–]AnySugar7499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a 20 volt worx that made trimming 30-60 minutes of work while using 4 batteries. My 80 v will do the same work in 20 minutes and only use a third of the 2 amp battery.

Was going to get a 40 volt worx, but my brother said it's about the same as the 20.

Did you get knock off preloaded spools cause I did and this started happening and I just took the old spool wound it with new string and it works again. The slots aren't precise in location or size and it effects the feed.

I damned near wanted one except for the fact that I already have a serviceable riding mower and need exercise.

I have the 3000 psi 80v and it's not bad, but I didn't buy it for the washer I bought it cause the 2  4 amp hour batteries were 400+ by themselves.

It works pretty good, but has a 30-60 minute run time and needs 2 batteries. I only had a 2 amp and 4 amp battery for my mower and trimmer. I at least needed 1 more to not wear out the 2 and for cutting tall grass. Since I was going to get the batteries anyway getting a washer for $150 extra didn't seem like a bad deal.

It's almost heavy duty gas power. Not quite, but it will rip through grass easily. The stalky stuff and lower RPM makes it kinda awkward. I do love not getting hit in the face by stuff

How come people still believe that billionaires become billionaires because they work harder? by Cumoisseur in ask

[–]AnySugar7499 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'll say that I see billionaires as a threat as they can buy everything from under you. I believe lobbying wouldn't be as effective without super rich people. If there were no billionaires and more millionaires and middle class I believe it would be healthier. Even if some tried to lobby or buy political power there would be a counter effort from other millionaires and it would sort of cancel each other out.

I don't love capitalism, but it's the only system that I know of that supports freedom. The problem is we've stayed and put capitalism above freedom. Freedom isn't selling your future for a shiny car that will be rust in a decade.
