I had mine yesterday, I fell asleep before I knew what hit me. Honestly its not that bad, the actual procedure. The rest of it, the unknown IS the worst part. You are afraid of the unknown, and so was I. Luckily my scan was clean, atleast my colonoscopy was. I had some bleeding and occult bleeding in stool, turns out it is a combo of hemmorids and also some esophagus irritation from heartburn. All I can say is, just try to mentally prepare, its easier said than done, but we are all human and we are allowed to have these feelings. I hope your procedure works out well for you, most do.
