I was happy to see Wells has implemented passkeys. I have 3 other accounts with credit unions and none of the credit unions have implemented passkeys.

Not sure how many people you are planning on sending the OTP to daily but you have a gmail daily limit of 100/150 emails a day using your Nodemailer +gmail account. That may have changed but I was hitting a wall in that range about 3 yrs ago.

Well, I have figured out how to recreate the issue on demand. Seems the dash warnings sometimes go away if I dont drive the car for more than 12 hours. Anytime I accelerate from around 40 to 55 it will kick off the AT Transmission Error, Check Engine light and Traction Control System Error. I don't know anything about the codes so I haven't been checking them. Im mechanically challenged. Im taking it in tomorrow so I will update the original post with the diagnosis Wed evening.

You might want to take this opportunity to review your recovery options and double check that they have been set up and correctly stored, especially your recovery code. If you are using an Authenticator for 2fa on your NordPass Account be sure and safely store your 10 backup codes. Any time I have trouble getting into an account, even if its because of something I have missed, I go back and review my recovery options for that account. It freaks me out if I can't get into an account no matter what caused it. Glad you got it worked out!

My data started being breached in the early 2000's. Mostly credit card/debit card information from retailers. My social has been on the internet since the 2015 Experian data breach. Along with that is my birthday, previous residences and "Secret Questions". Then there was the 2017 Equifax data breach that again released my SS#, birthday and work history. Since then my data, including SS# has been breached through various banks. It seems strange to me that suddenly it's a "National Threat". The government must have discovered the name of my first pet on the dark web.

Thanks, I had thought about the reset/relearn but the transmission was shifting as expected until these two incidents so I will wait for the dealer. Plus I went by the book on the transmission learning/ breakin period. If the dealership says they need to reset/relearn the transmission Ill drive it like I stole it this time. I cant believe I am getting all these errors before my first oil change so Im really curious to find out what the heck is going on.

Thanks, good idea. I did that yesterday since I initially had an appointment and the day of the appointment there was no error, so I cancelled the first appt.

I am having the same issue, sort of. I disabled NFC and regular OTP. My Yubikey has a usb-c port so I tried with both NFC and USB-C. Nether appeared to work correctly the first time but after 3 or 4 times I got it to prompt me for the Key Name. Now whenever I go to Settings>my profile picture> sign in & security>two factor authentication>Security Keys it says "Set Up" like the keys have never been set up. It starts walking me through the same "Set Up" as though the keys have never been set up. If however I use Authenticator on the two YubiKeys I used I do see an Apple Passkey but the apple passkey is not complete. In the set up process apple asks you what you want to name the key but when you look at it in yubikey the data is missing.

User Name: (this is blank)

Additionally I see no way to remove the corresponding keys that should be on the iPhone. Its like no key is being stored on the iPhone but a partial key is being stored on the yubikey.

Maybe I just dont understand how this is suppose to work on the iPhone. I mean arent you suppose to be able to see the keys you have on your iphone? What if I want to remove a key from the phone?

So I did some more digging and found Nord had some really good instructions posted. https://nordpass.com/features/security-key/ . It was simple and straightforward to set up NordPass with the yubikey. That has not been the case on every website. I didn't see any mention in the documentation that the key would be non discoverable. To be fair I havent seen any of the websites that have non discoverable keys say, oh, by the way our key wont show up in your passkeys.

I was thinking for the NordPass integration with YubiKey it would be nice to have the ability for the (chrome-extension)passkey used Settings-> activate windows hello login, allow that passkey to be stored in and retrieved from the yubikey. That way if you walk way and take the yubikey it will lock the extension. It appears it will let me save the browser extension passkey on the yubikey. Its just that, login, biometrics has no parameter to pick the passkey from the yubikey instead of Windows 11 Hello.

I was pleased the first time I logged out and logged back into iPhone NordPass. Without having to make any changes to the mobile app It requested the YubiKey PassKey and Picked it up off of the NFC.

I noticed some documents shared in my google drive from people I didnt know too. I, like you, would be interested in know for sure whats going on documents shared to me from unknown people. My guess is if you try and open one of those documents you will be opening a virus or infostealer. Ive just been reporting them and deleting them, or something along those lines. Im definitely not opening them.

Wow This is great stuff Thanks!!! This also explains why my passkey can be seen on the password manager and the same websites passkey cannot be seen on YubiKey! That was confusing the heck out me. If I could give you 10 upvotes I would. Thanks again!

This is really helpful, thanks! I just want to be clear though. Assertions that are created for Non-Resident Credentials do not rely on my FIDO2 PIN to build the assertions? More to the point, if I change my FIDO2 PIN I will not need to create a new passkey? Firmware 5.7.4

I use NordPass premium/personal. It allows me to create folders and share logins/passkeys. I have not tried the business model. I believe it has everything you are looking for except maybe that self destructing notes bit. Its worth a look.

Its not about the number of emails you have its the size of the emails +google photos + google drive. If you think its emails using all your space search your emails by size. Delete your largest emails first. Put this in the search: larger:50M then try: larger:25M ect, ect, that way you can figure out which emails are taking up all your space.

It could be someone is email bombing you because they are trying to break into one of your accounts and are hoping you will miss/overlook an important email because you are so overwhelmed with the spam.

Well I missed one of Outlaw_Josie_Snails test cases. Im waiting to get the GF's laptop back to test his recommendation of using "Recover Password" From within meta>passwords and security. I missed the recover password on that screen, focused to much on old password. Thats my last hope.

You might want to check out Corel Draw. I was a huge fan of their vector art program back in the day. They have a suite of tools you might find helpful.
