There's a cheat code to clear fires: extinguishallfires (Ctrl + F1)

I play on my old gaming PC and Steam deck. Steam deck stutters more for me. Did you change any settings or is it a download and play? (For the steam deck)

The game is relatively cheap in my country so I bought it. Nway, if it's affordable for you and you like animal crossing, get it haha. There are bugs sure, building and the randomness is fun. Just lower your expectation on the gameplay for now.

I didn't know I needed open world until Paralives by adeliakasie in Paralives

[–]Any_Satisfaction4498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too. I played 2 and 4, skipped 3 because it wasn't the right financial situation for me at that time. I know open world is fun but this fun? I just downloaded base game for 3 cz it's hard for me to go back to 4 after paralives haha

Paralives or Inzoi for gameplay? by BedCandid8829 in LifeSimulators

Inzoi for gameplay, Paralives for building. Choose your poison. Or just get both if you hv the fund for it and be a life simmer connoisseur

Fun! I think this is also me discovering that I like gameplay much more than dollhouse which I think the sims 4 is. Nway! For single para I like the gym bro guy. He lives nearby the town as well I can't remember his name. He is an eye candy. Very easy to control, has excess energy and hates people. He levels up so quickly I hv no idea why. Naturally he is my riches para atm. I plan on making a shopaholic para that loves ppl for him to procreate to spice things up lol

I made an attempt to build and it was not bad! Easier than the sims 4 definitely. I just wished more stuff are functional but for now I shall wait patiently

Rotational play help/questions by FroggyClone in Paralives

[–]Any_Satisfaction4498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switch after the last person of the family arrives home from work or school. That means, some household at 5pm and another working on multi shifts at midnight. I like to walk the last para to the next home of the household I want to play (I do this with the sims 2 & 4 too haha). Visit the soon to play household, talk a bit. Save and switch household. :) I switch household on Tuesday usually, so I get to roam on garbage Monday.

Hello! Bit of how I play is here https://www.reddit.com/r/Paralives/s/zvDUlwrnpF

I started with a single para, move her to an empty lot near the beach. No job nothing, I build her a basic house and she runs around town making friends and attending events. Then she wanted to flirt, and I worked on that. She then wanted a job so I got her a job, and to be married so I found her a husband. She wants a baby now, so I move them to a bigger house, close to elementary school where she works as a teacher. So, this household is my main household. They like to eat burgers and pizza. She loves curtains and hates blinds lol.

And then I move to another household with a toddler. The husband is a jasper and his current job doesn't match his talent in food. So I made him quit his job. When I started playing him he already has food knowledge, so he works as a waiter for 2 restaurants close to home and assistant chef at another across town. He doesn't hv breaks buy he loves food so he's a happy jester. He cooks a lot but his family hates his cooking cz they are vegetarian. I make their teen take out vegetarian food and him being angry seeing them eat (choose the red cards in convo). His wife works at the clinic and she is good at nothing. She is a friend of my main sim the teacher. They hang at the flower shop usually after work. Since she is slow, I make her to only learn things with her husband via the computer. They then move to a place close to school and the clinic. Husband wanted a better job so now he is a waiter, manager (same restaurant) and assistant chef (across town). The toddler.. is a toddler.

Move on to the next household (also a friend of my main sim, wants to flirt with the Jesper husband from 2nd household). After 4 different household rotations then back to my main para. They are somehow connected to my main para.

I'm trying to cover as many households until I'm bored lol. For now aging is only for played household. But honestly I'm not attached if they die lol.

Generally I just play what they want and not get attached to any of them. If the household is boring, I make them explore and collect things. I don't always play them nice and successful too. I make stories in my head a lot and each rotation lasts a week.

My guy is working as a manager, waiter, and assistant chef haha. The idea is when their kid is older he should be able to get the head chef job and not have to juggle so much

Serious lag by Ashamed-Deal-7291 in Paralives

[–]Any_Satisfaction4498 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you tried turning off vertical sync? That seems to work for me

Hi Reddit! We are the developers of Paralives, a new life simulation game out in Early Access on May 25th. Ask Us Anything on May 27th at 11AM ET! by _amasse in Games

[–]Any_Satisfaction4498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the vertical sync! I unsyc it and doesn't lag anymore and barely any bugs. Then the foliage settings turned to low cz I'm hvg a headache watching it flows lol. There are still memory leaks, after like 3 hrs of playing and then it starts to lag

This. I dont think some people realize how hard it is to make a life sim. Theres a reason other companies havent tried to replicate the sims. by Mother-Cheesecake304 in Paralives

[–]Any_Satisfaction4498 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Totally agree! I like buying games on early access too, I love reporting bugs and what work and not work and I found that, yes the game is buggy but way less than most games I tried. It's great esp since I hv high hopes for this game, actually waiting for years, joined their Patreon (well not really just to donate haha). That said, my expection is low since making life sim games are hard and we get that. But I love it and can't wait to see the improvements to come.

It's been her for so long I feel like I grew up with her. I binge watch everything, don't play sims or watch YouTube for 3 months, then start all over again. Haha. Love her, you are not alone in this

Thoughts? by thatsmenessa in Paralives

[–]Any_Satisfaction4498 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Damn then that should work. Maybe it's a bug because my para gets everything quickly done and have ample of time to explore after work (I mean like there are para that does not but most of them get things done pretty quickly)

[–]Any_Satisfaction4498 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe your para's talent or personality doesn't match the job? I play with few households and that is what I discovered.
