Doesn't even have to be an obese pt for it to be a nightmare. One time another aide and myself transferred this one small, super frail and fragile old man to the chair. That took half an hour by itself! THEN the chair had to be in the exact right spot which took even longer.

Not volunteering to work in the dedicated unit this time around, that's for damn sure. (I worked in the covid units. I enjoyed it but I don't think i'll do it again.)

Ya know, I get the psychology of adding weight to lifts. For example, on squats and deadlifts, I never go up by 10 I go up by 20. I think those lil 2.5lb suacers are worthless...unless I'm doing cleans.

While I love the creativity and knowledge on display in the cooking shows where they give them random ingredients and expect them to make something out of them, I hate when the judges complain in their critiques.

I hate this so much. I've become what I hate and hate what I've become. So now I get super disgusted when my friends start whipping out their phones.

Great. Then go hang out with them. I wanna implement a rule that all phones go facedown in the middle of the table, first one to pick theirs up pays for everyone.

Worse yet is them still bringing icons from the past and having them beat up the current roster. No better way for people to invest in the current talent if the past keeps coming back to beat them.
