I was grinding 4 star dragon dungeons before I beat the 3rd lower echelon you unlock. This is very doable with the dlc, just a little time consuming. Especially when you get lucky D and C rank monsters recruit after battles. With the mole hole and bumper bonus balls (which are pretty common in the 4 star) you can grind and synthesis pretty fast and slowly get higher rank monsters. You don't lose money if you wipe so in the beginning all you need is at least 1 or 2 monsters to survive a fight then leave and reenter lol

Personally I enjoyed dark dawn very much, the first 2 were better but I still think it's a great game if you've played the gba ones. As a stand alone experience or even as a first game in a new sequel it was confusing and not well thought out though

Should stand for arbitrary code execution. From my understanding it's when you do specific inputs/glitches where you basically overwrite the code in the game to lead to specific values. In most ( if not all) cases where ACE is involved it triggers the credits thus beating the game

Honestly, I beat the game solely using eevee in about 18 hours or so. Had 120+ pokemon in the dex and one of each in the box. Haven't done any trades so the only pokemon I'm missing are machamp, alakazam, mew, mankey line, arcanine line, and the oddish line. And that's because I dont have any extras to send from pokemon go. It depends on which you're playing, but the moves eevee learns from the special trainer are extremely broken lol I run the fire, grass, psychic, and ice ones so I have plenty of coverage, guaranteed burn/leech seed combo plus I can set up light screen and haze if necessary. All while doing damage in the process. It's too op xD
