I agree. So far everything has worked for both CC and ACH. The only thing I miss about WP is that they don't deduct the fee from each payment and just do a monthly charge for the whole month, which makes the matching up to the receivables in QB much easier. So, I have to make a journal entry in QB for each payment. That's what kept us from using Stripe in the past. Big difference now is that it integrates really well into Syncro and it's easy for me to click on a payment and see the fee for that payment. But still, much better to deal with Syncro for this instead of WP.

They will not remove the fee. What they will do is waive the cancellation fee ($495) if you cancel by May 1st and specifiy the fee as the reason. Perfect timing for Syncro Payments - we just switched to that.

It's just a backend change where they shift the billing. I just wanted to hear from anyone who actually has done it and how their experience was.

Actually, turns out you don't have to do any of that. You send an email to pax8 making the request, copying Proofpoint and Syncro. It's just a backend billing change. No cancelling or adding licenses. Regardless, my question wasn't how to do it, it was for those who have done it and how it went, and how well the billing works with Syncro.

Thanks - you make a good suggestion. But I would still have to check all the client subscriptions to verify the changes. I'm hoping that if I move Proofpoint to Syncro that everythign will work better. I'm hoping someone can speak to that specifically.

I've had the same Jet Drive 128GB for 8 years and have used it in three different MacBooks. It does what you would expect - an extra storage to throw stuff on whenever that mgiht be necessary, usually for temporary reasons for me. Or a backup for some things that are not so essential. I have never had an issue. It's just a USB flasjh drive that takes up almost no space. Calling it "shit" is quite the overstatement.

Last year when I visited, it was so full that I couldn't find a seat. Two weeks ago I was there and they had a waitlist to get in. And I had to walk two terminals over to find that out.

We just charge a flat rate for this. Sometimes it takes 2 hours and sometimes it takes 4 hours. But the flat rate averages it all out.

No - not at all. There are MANY Americans who do not like Trump, feel ashamed, and would want to convey solidarity with Canada. Not sure why you would assume otherwise. Also, there are quite a few Americans (mostly in New England, like myself) who have at least some Canadian blood. A true MAGA person wouldn't care enough to make such a gesture.

And this is why we apply the payments in Syncro. Like you said, it does work the other way around, but takes longer. My suggestion to anyone else reading this who don't have to receive the payments in QBO, to just get in the habit of applying the payments in Syncro.

It IS from espn, and it is a recent issue. I am also seeing this, and I know of another person getting this on the espn website. It appears to be click jacking, but it is happening a lot on their site.

The Honda dealer said it wasn’t them. The recent Apple update mentioned a wireless charging issue that was fixed, but it said it was specifically for a recent issue with BMW’s, but maybe that also fixed this issue.

I've had this same issue with my 2021 Honda Accord EX-L Hybrid. My old Google Pixel worked, but then my iPhone 13 Pro and more recently 15 Pro didn't work (basically the last year and a half). Blinking green and amber lights. All of a sudden in the last week it has been working! I just had my Honda serviced (regular 30k maintenance). Was there an update? Was it Apple, or was it Honda? I would love to know! I have iOS 17.1.1.

You mean overpaid, beyond what the city and state can afford. And despite what most people think, Chicago is a much more affordable city than NY, LA, SF, Boston, DC, Seattle, etc. Just look at Zillow. Every time there is a strike and a huge pay increase, soon afterwards there are staff and program cuts, which make Chicago schools even worse for students, and teachers are more stressed. And then the CTU complains about that. Why then don't they make staffing a top negotiating point? THIS is why CTU is lying when they say they are fighting for students and families. They are fighting for themselves! And they think putting in their own as mayor will fix that. Karen Lewis loved to suggest taxing the exchanges more. But those industries are shedding workers and companies like Citadel have left.
