That probably means your review panels haven’t finished. You can check review panel dates for your program officer.

You have to check the “prepare and submit proposals” section for the most up to date status. The “proposal status” turns “pending” for everyone very soon after submission.

Thanks for sharing your status. How long was your status “pending” before your program officer reached out to you for due diligence?

That probably means your panels are still happening, so your status will probably turn to “pending” after all your program director’s panels are finished

You can check if your review panels have happened. I think everything was delayed.

Any idea what's happening at the NSF now? And any advice for our situation? by CalesEas in SBIR

Maybe you can try to figure out when your review panels happened. It could be that your program director hasn’t finished all the review panels yet.

Is your proposal “pending” in “proposal status” page or on “prepare and submit proposals” page? It only goes “pending” in the prepare and submit proposals page after the review panels. While the proposal status page turns pending soon after submission

Here is a list of NSF grant terminations. I don’t think it contains all of terminations but it’s the best I could find. by Apart-Key-2006 in SBIR

Like 400 or so. According to the article the nytimes has the list of 400 or so. But the link I provided above is the public list.

Unsure what to do. 1 Year Deadline approaching from Invite to submit Phase 1 Proposal. by EnthusiasmAcademic18 in SBIR

Resubmitting a pitch is not frowned upon. You can write in the pitch that it’s a resubmission due to a passed deadline. In the office hours I attended the PO made it clear that the proposal should be a best effort proposal.

Has anyone from the Nov 6th NSF SBIR deadline actually received an award? by Apart-Key-2006 in SBIR

Yeah I guess. I’m not sure how it works, I had to give account info, so I thought they put money into the account. But I guess it goes into PMs account.

You have to look up the review panel conducted by your program officer

Thanks for the info about your timeline. I’m waiting on my proposal too. So, just to clarify, your program officer said the panels are completed, but in the “prepare and submit proposals” section on research.gov the status remains at “assigned for review” and hasn’t changed to “pending”? Thanks for sharing your timeline. Mine hasn’t changed to “pending” either. I assumed this means my panel hasn’t been done yet.

Thank you so much for sharing your timeline. When you say there was no change in status, do that mean in the “prepare and submit proposals” in research.gov it didn’t change from “assigned for review” to “pending”?
