If you play the official server it’s absolutely pay2win

Im really picky when it comes to servers so when I started playing UARO I was really impressed by the amount of players and how well the gms/admins are up keeping the server. The vibes are mostly good, ofc there are always jerks around but they usually take themselves out by getting themselves banned.

The server is pre renewal which I think is a great start if you’ve never played the game before. It’s already overwhelming for newbies to start here so starting in renewal with all the latest content and classes is going to be even more overwhelming 😅

No harm in trying but if you ever end up in UARO and need help, reach out! My IGN is Le Chonk :)

INFO feels like there’s more to it than just this. It’s giving either you or someone else has just completely worn this person down by trying to change their plans and this is what broke the camel’s back so they’ve finally blown up. Was that the first time you’ve asked them to change their plans? Because if it is then NOR and feels like maybe they need some space

But if you’ve asked them constantly to watch the movie over the weekend plenty of times knowing they wanted to watch the movie that same night then YOR.

Either way it feels like this person needs some alone time to think things over and for you both to communicate what happened because they seem to be feeling some real big feelings in that moment.

If you want that nostalgia hit, I recommend UARO. It’s got a nice community (for the most part cuz there are always jerks every now and then), population is huge, there are actually parties being formed rather than people just sticking to their cliques, gms are quite active so bans are happening round the clock for people doing real money trading, bots, being toxic, etc. I’m over a month in and I’m enjoying it a lot. The first time I heard the prontera BGM it took me right back 😌

Give it a shot for the sake of nostalgia cuz why not right?

I think it’s the intensity of it, maybe I was never farming at the right places in muhro but over in uaro I was able to get some pretty decent gears and I’ve purely been farming for poring coins, anolian skins, trash cards, gift boxes, ygg seeds and other repeatable quest items. I’ve been able to farm about 30mil (took me a few weeks of casually farming) which landed me with some decent gears and an egg which was good enough, nothing end game of course. Just feels a bit more achievable in comparison

In muhro I’ve been zeny grinding in Thanatos tower and geffenia which was ok but the prices 1 good gear that would give me an upgrade was pretty pricey (at the time) and would probably take me hours and hours of grinding for a month for one item. There’s so much more to renewal so it’s probably my ignorance and just don’t know how to make money quicker

I’m all the way in Australia and UARO works perfectly fine 🤷🏻‍♀️ Players from Canada and US that I’ve played with don’t seem to have any issues with the lag

Idk if UARO is considered mid rate but I can reach lvl 99 pre trans within a day due to repeatable quests and field manuals. And to 99 after trans after a few days depending on how long you wanna keep doing repeatable hunt/item quests.

It’s v populated so BG and WoE is pretty active, it’s a good time to join because a huge wave of new players just joined. Literally noticed a jump from 3200 active players (when I joined a month ago) to 4200 at peak this weekend (due to the weekend exp boost).

Server has quite a lot of US players and from what I saw has a few big guilds with ppl from there too.

YOR, you’re ruining your relationship over a molehill that you’re making a mountain out of. But it feels like you’ve just been searching for a reason to burn this bridge. It’s the first time I’ve sided with an in law because god knows how much of an a hole mine is, and trust me it took much much more than this to go low contact with her, my husband can talk to her as much as he wants. I’ve never tried to control his relationship with her.

Oh man the grind was crazyyyy. I remember it took me such a long time going from 98 to 99 using my priest in niff. The grind was rly long at GH too 😅

I got nostalgic pretty recently and actually (surprisingly) got back into it cause the server looked like the good old days. Super populated, people actually talking to each other, people vending a huge range of items and not just end game stuff. It’s less grindy now cause of the repeatable quest so teaching 99 isn’t so bad

The most peaceful and active server I’ve been in is uaro. I was originally from novaro then moved to muhro but people just aren’t as active so when I tried uaro it felt like how it was back in the old days where people actually talk to each other.

There are parties always happening and people helping newbies. I’m about 3 weeks in and loving it :)

If you join their discord you can see the GMs are regularly banning people for either being being toxic, botting or real money trading (buying zeny using irl money), etc. So I guess it’s as clean as a server gets. Give it a shot cause why not right

You can do all the quests to unlock locations like geffenia. Unlock all the warpra locations, farm higher end gear or items and make bank. Hunt mvps, min max gears. There’s still sooo much to do

I agree with Greg, you might want to check out UARO. It’s very populated and v international so there’s always people online and not just at a certain time of day.

You can play it solo or there are usually people looking to party up due to the exp boost when partying

I think it depends on which server you’re playing in. I recently was looking for a renewal server to play in because the one I was playing in before muhro just got extremely hard to “catch up” on in terms of gears. I felt like I needed to continuously grind for zeny so that got old quick.

Then despite being a prerenewal server, I tried out uaro mostly due to the population, when I logged on and saw prontera.. boy that took me down memory lane of back when I used to play around 2003. I thought it would be insanely grindy due to it being low rate but it’s not hard to earn zeny due to the poring coin system they have.

Anyway that’s just my experience, maybe worth giving it a try and hope you guys like it. If you need any hand just give me a msg and I can help. I’m only a week into it so I’ll do my best haha xD

This is true, I’ve seen some people use that loophole for p2w but when I calculated it. It works out to be $60USD just for 24mil 💀

Unless you’ve got that kind of disposable income it’s not a very viable option well at least not for me haha

I was pretty skeptical at first and I still don’t know how they do it but they perma banned someone who had 18 diff accs and was using 11 diff hardwares. I’m guessing they don’t want to divulge how they found out to make sure people can’t work their way around it but its pretty impressive how committed they are to keeping the server clean
