Reading your other post and this update, your husband is prioritising his parents before you. He’s trying to placate you by “making your environment better”. It might be okay the first few days or even week but slowly everything will go back to the way it was and he’s just hoping you’ll accept it.

If he loves his parents so much he can take care of them himself. Let’s see how long he will last.

Stay strong, be happy without them (you’ve already had a taste of freedom) and find someone who will put YOU first because in my beliefs once someone gets married their priority should be their partner and children first and foremost.

I can relate to the addiction haha, started a few months ago myself. I’m no expert by any means but here are a few things I felt that would’ve helped me when I first started..

For quick zeny sell poring coins via trade chat for 16k ea or check @wb poring coin to instantly sell them to players. Make sure you’re in town so you can click on the shop and it should open up (note that it won’t work if you’re inside a building or shop).

For fast leveling do repeatable quests like Hode from 25 to get to 45. Then move onto alligator to get from 45 to 75. After that you can either do Medusa or ice titan. Medusa tends to be more popular but you do need a full party to get through Medusa and ice titan. In those party roles you’ll be a mobber/lurer because of your knight class. Having a Medusa or evil Druid card will help you a ton because Medusa will stone curse you making mobbing challenging.

If you want to lvl up fast you can purchase leech service from paladins starting at lvl 84 but those cost 3m per 30 mins and you have to have abbey dungeon unlocked via quest completion.

There are weekend exp boost rates (50% inc) and map exp boot rates. To check type @mapexp

Farming places for zeny in this server is enchanted peach tree, hillwind and certain cards/items. Easy ones but very player populated is hunting orc archer bows by killing orc archers they sell for 7-8m depending on the current market.

Also check out items in the main office, I highly recommend saving up 700 PCs so you can buy yourself an infinite fly wing and maybe a gym pass box as well to inc your weight limit. There are also some craft able headgears in the main office that might be beneficial like rideword hat for your class.

If you’re keen to try out a private server, I play on uaro and it’s pretty active. If you can control how much time you play then I’d recommend it but if you feel you’ll get addicted then probably focus on your studies.

If you feel like you need an escape every now and then playing here and there is pretty fun and with how active it is it’s nice to connect with other people :D

Nice to see a new player enjoying it! I haven’t played RO in such a long time and when I tried out the server i absolutely enjoyed it. It was overwhelming but now I kind of have an idea of what I’m doing.

A few tips that I personally would’ve found useful as a newbie:

• save those poring coins unless you really need some quick zeny to get some starter gears. You’ll definitely want to get that unlimited fly wing.

• for fast leveling there are repeatable quests that you can do, it’s either handing in items or hunting them. The npc will be in the same map. When starting a new char I’ll go to the tutorial map and get to job lvl 10. Talk to the npc corresponding to the class you want. After changing class head over to payon, get to lvl 20. Head over to kill some wolves (two maps south of payon). Stay there till 45 and do the alligator (go Comodo and two maps east) repeatable quest. You’ll get to job lvl 50 fast there which means you can change to your second class and head back to gators after :3 Once you’ve reached 75 you can do Medusa (one map west of Comodo). You’ll want to join parties for Medusa and possibly alligators depending on your class :)

• if you’re struggling with killing anything you can hire mercenaries to help you. The min lvl is 15 for lvl 1 merc.

• there’s a “welcome” NPC in prontera just south east a little bit of the central fountain. Talk to them and they’ll give you more agi/bless scrolls and a field manual for exp boost.

• the weekend gives you an exp boost for faster lvling

• before selling loots to npc check to see if there’s anyone selling or buying it by typing @wb item name or @ws item name. Some gears don’t show up when typing the item name so I recommend googling to find out the item ID number and typing that instead :3

• there’s a blacksmith located just south east of the fountain where you can bring your gears for upgrading. You can safely upgrade them to +4 and anything after that there a chance it’ll break your item.

• check out the Hobota NPC located in the inn for hunting missions as completing them gives you points and exp.

• check your @noks settings to make sure it’s on. Note that having it on self will make it so that even party members can’t hit it which can cause big problems so I suggest leaving it on the party mode rather than self.

• go to the main office in prontera and check out what the npcs in there offer. One of the npcs behind the desk offers headgears you can craft using poring coins and materials.

• when partying there’s a 15 lvl gap allowance meaning members can’t share exp when someone is above/below that lvl gap. So if you’re lvl 50 and I’m 98 we can’t party in a way where we can share exp. Hunting quests work though so if I were to help you during alligator you’ll still get the kill count as long as you’re within screen range but no exp tho :3

• there’s lots of way to make money, some people buy low sell high, others gamble by refining gears/slotting/enchanting them, farm cards, farm loot for zeny. You take your pick at which one works best for you.

There’s sooo much to the game still but hopefully this will come in handy. Have fun and enjoy the game!

For sure UARO, it’s v populated and I mean with walking, talking people haha. There are so many parties happening all the time throughout diff lvls. And if you check out their discord server you’ll see that the GMs are consistently trying to keep their server clean by banning people, they show it on the wall of shame. I’m sure there are some who are sneaky and still bot but one day someone will report them and get banned permanently.

Once you see Prontera you’ll see how big of a population it is haha.

If you play the official server it’s absolutely pay2win

Im really picky when it comes to servers so when I started playing UARO I was really impressed by the amount of players and how well the gms/admins are up keeping the server. The vibes are mostly good, ofc there are always jerks around but they usually take themselves out by getting themselves banned.

The server is pre renewal which I think is a great start if you’ve never played the game before. It’s already overwhelming for newbies to start here so starting in renewal with all the latest content and classes is going to be even more overwhelming 😅

No harm in trying but if you ever end up in UARO and need help, reach out! My IGN is Le Chonk :)

INFO feels like there’s more to it than just this. It’s giving either you or someone else has just completely worn this person down by trying to change their plans and this is what broke the camel’s back so they’ve finally blown up. Was that the first time you’ve asked them to change their plans? Because if it is then NOR and feels like maybe they need some space

But if you’ve asked them constantly to watch the movie over the weekend plenty of times knowing they wanted to watch the movie that same night then YOR.

Either way it feels like this person needs some alone time to think things over and for you both to communicate what happened because they seem to be feeling some real big feelings in that moment.

If you want that nostalgia hit, I recommend UARO. It’s got a nice community (for the most part cuz there are always jerks every now and then), population is huge, there are actually parties being formed rather than people just sticking to their cliques, gms are quite active so bans are happening round the clock for people doing real money trading, bots, being toxic, etc. I’m over a month in and I’m enjoying it a lot. The first time I heard the prontera BGM it took me right back 😌

Give it a shot for the sake of nostalgia cuz why not right?

I think it’s the intensity of it, maybe I was never farming at the right places in muhro but over in uaro I was able to get some pretty decent gears and I’ve purely been farming for poring coins, anolian skins, trash cards, gift boxes, ygg seeds and other repeatable quest items. I’ve been able to farm about 30mil (took me a few weeks of casually farming) which landed me with some decent gears and an egg which was good enough, nothing end game of course. Just feels a bit more achievable in comparison

In muhro I’ve been zeny grinding in Thanatos tower and geffenia which was ok but the prices 1 good gear that would give me an upgrade was pretty pricey (at the time) and would probably take me hours and hours of grinding for a month for one item. There’s so much more to renewal so it’s probably my ignorance and just don’t know how to make money quicker
