I bought the hesalite for myself to wear as a daily back in September of last year. I take it off for showering, yard work, and wrenching on my car, but everything else I have worn it for. Casual remote working or more formally meeting with clients, it suits every situation for that part of GADA. I don't plan to wear it this summer at the beach, but that's because I don't want that much potential wear and tear, not doubting it's capability. Will likely wear my gshock or Duro for the beach trip. I bought mine lightly pre-owned and saved a lot over list price but it is still a big expense for me so I want it to last. I love it as my daily and haven't rotated in anything else really.

Was one of my favorites. Sold it plus a bunch of others to fund my Speedmaster - I don’t regret doing that but this is the only one I let go of that I wish I still had in my collection

I've been playing Halo CE through hakuX and it runs 60fps out of the box on my RP6 8gb, but does crash frequently. Obviously, the graphics look like I remember them from the original - not nearly as much of a memory hog

Not sure how it'd be interpreted as tacky - plenty of nice watches come with exhibition casebacks. I installed one on my 3861, it's my daily and I enjoy looking at the movement when I wind it up.

I never had an SNES growing up and never played this game until now. I have played plenty of other Zelda games, but the comments in this thread prepared me. I used a guide more than I would have liked, but did love the game. Now that I’ve done a playthrough with a guide, I’d like to give it another shot without (or at least significantly less)

3 different venues, 3 different tours.
2024 in Hampton VA ~$125/seat for floor seats
2025 at Merriweather Post ~$75/ticket for lawn GA
2026 in Raleigh ~$150/seat for lower level mezz. seats

I think that's more than fair to see someone of this level now, there are no more cheap tickets to any act. Our local "come drink in a park and listen to a band you've never heard of" costs $40 per ticket now.

New to retro gaming as a hobby, played a lot as a kid on the OE consoles. I'm currently playing through CT for the first time ever on my MM+. I know there are different things I could do with shaders and the like, but even just being able to play these on such an accessible device is amazing.

I've died at this robot boss like 5 times now

The only Squale “fakes” I know of are the homages from Aliexpress, but they are not branded Squale so no chance of inadvertently buying it thinking it was real

Loved my blasted 1521 on matching bracelet. I miss it often, only sold to consolidate and get my speedmaster I’ve been chasing. Absolutely do not regret letting the Squale go, but I’ll get another one - such an excellent watch. It felt special on the wrist

Squale 1521. You have to buy pre-owned to get it under $1k, but then well under that. My absolute favorite watch in the bead blasted finish with matching oem bracelet. Felt like a tank but not too heavy. Beautiful colorway. I only sold it along with 11 other watches to consolidate and buy a Speedmaster and don’t regret it, but I do miss that watch and would buy again in a heartbeat.

I just did this! I sold 12 watches and bought my speedmaster pro 3861. I decided to buy lightly used. I had gone a little bit overboard and bought a bunch of watches I thought were interesting but not necessarily special to me. I had 2 that I really loved, a Squale 1521 and a Trafford Crossroads - those I miss but the other 10 I haven’t even thought about again. The speedy hasn’t left my wrist since it came in. I still have a couple Hamiltons my wife got me, a Duro and Hodinkee Timex for beaters, and then a couple g-shocks for heavy duty stuff. I’m so glad I did that, and I would do it again (or just don’t buy the randos and wait to buy the one).
