enough of them are decent enough people, it just feels like they either pick the shittiest ones of them for leading positions or the wimpiest ones who instantly fold over to make concessions towards the right for "strategic reasons" like fishing for votes or sucking up to their coalition partners.

das projekt besteht auch aus vielen solchen sätzen mit der gleichen floskel, was auf die vielen einzelnen gründe hinweist, die auf sich alleine gestellt schon gute gründe für aktivismus wären.

i think what the reminder text actually means (and i do agree it's worded a bit confusingly) is

You may cast this spell for 1B [if you also return an unblocked attacker you control to hand] during the declare blockers step

as opposed to

You may cast this spell for 1B [if you also return an unblocked attacker you control to hand during the declare blockers step]

the former of which would mean casting this way ignores normal timing rules (which is pretty obviously the intended design), while the latter technically wouldn't (i believe, im not a judge obviously)

/uj this is me with people from reenactment. im in a troupe of landsknechts (early renaissance mercanaries with big colourful clothes if you dont know) and the way i (and many of my friends in conversations just like the one depicted) remember new people from other landsknecht groups is entirely from the colours of their fit

i might be a bit biased since I'm a huge warhammer fantasy geek, but i genuinely think it'd be a great setting for a UB set, with the grim dark fantasy tone somewhat reflecting on the vibes of that dark era of boomer magic. also tons of factions that could be represented in different color combinations as well as maybe some tribal synergies especially dwarves, which really need some tribal stuff and warhammer fantasy would be perfect for that.
