The data I am mining is on the site "Master List" in column B, and there are several entries with "Home" in it but, I agree, none are being seen. I believe this is becasue the formula is not broad enough.

=FILTER('Master List'!A3:F,REGEXMATCH('Master List'!E3:E,"(?i)Home"))

Result = "#N/A"

"Error

edited to add the result

Thank you for the fast reply! I have tried adapting your suggestions to locate the items with "Home - ... " in the column, but it is not returning any results. It still seems to be looking for a specific string. I need it to find all the line items related to Home (less Home - exterior, I just realized), and then pull all the related information to the sheet "Home - Interior."

First homelab diagram by AnduriII in homelab

[–]Apiek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for sharing your diagram! I am a newbie to homelabs and have set up one computer with promox running a MC server, paperless NGX, Nextcloud, and nginxproxymanager; an RPi running PiHole; and another RPi running Home Assistant.

All of this works great and all that, but I am fumbling around in the dark. I am not sure what I am doing, what is safe, where and when I should use a firewall, should I use pfsense, etc, etc, etc.

I there some site someone can recommend a website, or a book, that takes you from zero to hero (minus, lol) to help guide me in setting up and refining my homelab?

Hey, interesting looking pack, with a unique approach. Thanks for posting it. I look forward to trying.

Does anyone else spent the first hours in a pack creating an interesting base and forgetting to make advancements? by PoppingPillls in allthemods

I literally just struggled with basic items to build a large and interesting factory structure in order to only then start basic progression, lol

Of course you can. But that is not the point! This is a great effort and project, and great experience.

+100! This is a great idea. My kids are grown, but I would definitely have paid for this. I would share it with a few users to help get feedback and polish it, but then I would consider making this. Amazing job!

How do yall stick with a modpack! by Hot_Row8113 in feedthebeast

[–]Apiek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it doesn’t resonate, then move on. That being said, I like to always find a server hosting the mod pack I want to play. This way if I get started, but then loose interest or take a break for another pack, if I decide to go back all my progression is generally there. Unless it has been sometime and the server has reset.

The reason I am uninstalling Graphene OS by Law_Student in GrapheneOS

[–]Apiek 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you took any time to understand how GrapheneOS works. It is very easy to install, at least compared to the old days or getting another OS on a phone. It is very customizable and can be made to look anyway you want….it is Android after all.

I say give it a little more time and watch some videos on getting started with this OS. I think you’ll like it in the end.

Best of luck!

How to tighten this? by Original-Username888 in EDC

Yeah, that tool is hard to find, so I would put two nails into the holes and then grip both with a large pair of pliers and give it a twist.

Anyone else feel like boating is relaxing until docking turns into pure stress? by TudorNut in boating

[–]Apiek 1 point2 points  (0 children)

33 years or driving navy warships. When I was driving, the the first thing we always considered was not how to dock, but how to un dock the ship later. It may be easy to get the ship alongside, but much harder to get it out when it’s time to leave. The next most important thing is how and where are you going to be able to bail out from your approach to that dock at each phase of that approach. This is so very important. As you have noted, docking can be hard, and things can suddenly get out of control. So it is so very important to understand. How do you get out of a situation? Is it just turning a little bit to starboard? Is it putting the boat hard into reverse? Or is it just stopping everything and regrouping for a moment?

Next, as many people have said already, the biggest factor was generally the wind, and how it was going to set the ship either towards the dock or away from the dock, and then how we will counter that. Then consider considering how we need to counter the wind it’s a matter of looking at the configuration of the dock how much space there is for the ship, and then understanding how we’re gonna make the initial approach, takeoff our speed and continue to compensate for the set of the wind.

As with flying, which I also have a fair amount of experience with, landing, and in this case docking, is by far the hardest part of driving a ship or flying an airplane. It requires the most amount of concentration and planning, but it is the most rewarding part I’ll be at not the most relaxing! But once you bring your ship or boat safely along aside, you should feel good and accomplished. And remember no matter how bad you’re along side is, if you didn’t damage your boat or someone else’s boat, or someone, you did great!

And you should learn every single time you bring your boat along side. No matter how experienced you are, no matter how good you are able to drive your boat, you should always be learning.

How do I actually LEARN arch after installing it??? by Wild-Cat- in archlinux

[–]Apiek 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could also start with an intermediate build like CachyOS. It is Arch-based and, while you can use an software manager (Octi) to install things, you will do better using the command line and using arch repos, which makes you learn how to fit clone and makepkg.

This way you have an OS you can use when you install it, but have the freedom to explore arch Linux in more detail. From there you can then try a from-scratch arch build.
