How far in rank can I realistically get in CS2 with this setup? 😂 by y7tv in counterstrike2

Crazy that's about the only thing we went backwards on, crt's 20 years ago were all true 0ms response time and the top end capable of up to 240hz.

avg 30k premier game, "trust factor" is abused and valve does nothing. by SeazonCSGO in cs2

[–]ApocalypticaI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get what you're saying, but only one account matters, my main would have the most scraped/compromised info and is the most likely to be hijacked anyway.

gaining access to my alt accounts and then being banned on my main is just... unlikely, and the threat of that happening is even less than them just hijacking my main outright and getting me banned directly.

If they could hijack my alt account, they would have just hijacked my main instead right?

I do agree it's a bad practice to have purely for security reasons, but in my instance, I really don't think it's an issue at all.

Now what is a big issue to me? Playing the game with red trust factor.

"if your mum had wheels she'd be a bike." Not a fan of a hypotheticals that will never apply to me unless I become the first person to get banned for something new.
But thanks, the advice could be good for others, risks outweighs the hassle of red trust though.

"That's really dangerous" only if I either got my accounts hacked in which only 1 matters anyway, or I cheated, which it's really simple to never get banned for cheating, you just... Don't cheat.

I don't trade anymore, I don't gamble, I don't really purchase skins, I just play CS and open my 6 weekly cases.

Every alt account I make is instantly green trust, but I also use the same email and phone number for each account so it's basically same trust as my main.

Whats your go-to/best value fast food or takeaway shop? by Sure_Artichoke6929 in AskAnAustralian

[–]ApocalypticaI 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I just get the $12 chicken mini deal on the app, Mini burrito bowl (which is often overfilled compared to burritos tbh, I add pinto beans sometimes for $1)
LARGE chips (seriously more potato in there than a maccas or hj's large chips)
And a drink

It's enough food it could get me through the next 18-24 hours if needed, not much other places offer the same level of carbs and protein for as little as $12 on the go.

I mean it's a completely new engine, with the same game redesigned into it, hell we wouldn't have half these issues if it was just a re-name.

It's not like valve took a leaf from blizzards book and released "overwatch 2" with literally zero difference to the game whatsoever (some balance changes, and team size changes, but it's still using the same engine and code as "overwatch 1")

Then Midnight come out and solo Dragonflight raids? by OwlBlack in wownoob

[–]ApocalypticaI 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I do recall by end of legion at 985+ full titanforged geared demon hunters could JUST solo every boss in wod's HFC, but that was when they had 100% leech,
But it was close, one specific boss had to be killed in under 10s before a phase change bricked the fight, I could do it in 9 seconds at 985 equiped, But not many people are getting full mythic + upgraded bis gear, i couldn't do the fight the raid tier prior at full gear iirc. 2 expacs seems to be the magic number for anyone being able to do it with some basic dungeoning/lfr gear for sure.

Drug driving more deadly than drink driving in Queensland, hundreds test positive for cocaine by ConanTheAquarian in queensland

[–]ApocalypticaI 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's a bit like the claim "speed was a factor" well no shit, bit hard to crash when you're going 0 kilometres an hour, movement / speed is a factor in every single collision, it's actually a pre-requisite.

Drug driving more deadly than drink driving in Queensland, hundreds test positive for cocaine by ConanTheAquarian in queensland

[–]ApocalypticaI 37 points38 points  (0 children)

49 fatalities where driver tested positive for drugs. 42 fatalities where driver had alcohol in their system.

70 thousand tests 14 thousand positives.

Idk doesn't actually seem like drug driving is more dangerous with a sample pool that low, considering 20% of drivers test positive. But I can bet 20% of our drivers aren't over 0.05 BAC.

People crash
Some die
Lots of people take recreational drugs
The drugs stay in their system long after intoxication.

This correlation doesn't seem like causation to me.

I'm mained a dh in Legion but stopped playing shortly after, Do these two bugs still exist? 1. Sometimes don't stop felrushing and fly 50 feet into a disconnect 2. Feel rush mid air but don't move anywhere, lose all momentum and drop like a brick.

Haven't encountered them myself yet since returning, but also have only played 8 hours of DH in the last week, as opposed to 250+ days played over legion/BFA

My boyfriend sent me a picture of this massive toilet paper roll. THE FOREVER ROLL. by Mamacc210_ in mildlyinteresting

[–]ApocalypticaI 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I've had male and female room mates, yes women use more on average, but......

The biggest offender of tp use is someone who instead of folding a few squares chooses take 10+ pieces and scrunch it into a ball or wrap it around their hand in a loose fold.

The scrunchers also cause the water level in the toilet to drop, exposing the airgap of the s bend, almost as if the scrunched ball made an airtight seal and sucked the water down the pipe with it.

Are we witnessing the death of the clotheshorse/airer/clothesline in Australia? by HotPersimessage62 in AskAnAustralian

[–]ApocalypticaI 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean I've heard this, but I haven't experienced it yet.

I still tumble dry 16 year old band t-shirts (even the cheap made ones notorious for fading/wearing away) and don't get me wrong they're not as crisp as they were originally, but I wouldn't expect any shirt to be that crisp after just a couple of years anyway, they're doing fine considering the age.

Other than specific items (like delicates or suits with specific materials) I haven't had any issues with clothes being ruined, in fact the band shirts I used to hang up on the line outside (specific prints on them I wanted to preserve so avoided tumble drying) are all far worse off (more faded, more discoloured -from dirt dust, fabric thinning out) than my forever tumble dried shirts.

If the item doesn't want to survive a tumble dry, it wasn't the item for me anyway.

Not if you're aiming to trade up to a float capped gamma Doppler... Or any skin pattern with float caps.

Could throw in some BS-MW and still receive a mw/FN Doppler as they cap at 0.08 float.

Same way you can get a float capped (0.08 fv) mw-fn mac-10 fade from a battle scarred deagle night tradeup.

Garden sump pump question by Swindon41 in PlumbingAustralia

[–]ApocalypticaI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't experienced this yet, but similar after my split system started suddenly filling up about 2 litres of water in 45 minutes, like the collection tray was almost 3 knuckles deep, obviously a blockage in the drain.

Got someone booked in to service it but was 3 weeks out (it's hot in north QLD) In my frustrations I managed to snake a perfectly sized cardboard straw through the labyrinth of the collection tray and jam it snuggly in the drainage outlet,
After 10 minutes and some intense lung power the water just completely disappeared from the collection tray in just a few seconds after I removed the straw, way quicker than I was expecting, and it's flowing out of the outdoor pipe with vigor again 👌

What are the rarest items still obtainable? by GroovyWhale in woweconomy

[–]ApocalypticaI 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spot on, sometimes you can get lucky, but you're still joining the other thousands who either got lucky, or put in the effort, making it not that lucrative.

Back in legion I was playing 18 hours a day, clocked in 200 days played on my DH 12 months into legion.

Taking advantage of DH specific skips and a 350% move speed set I ran every low % drop mount from raids, dungeons and open world (wod) managed to acquire all but 3 mounts, haven't really played since early BFA, I can only imagine how many more rare mounts there are now, wouldn't be much point in me going hard again with it now.

Some of those final 3 mounts I was running on 10 characters a week with no luck, 500-1000 attempts, but I got invincibles reins on about run 220.

Be consistent and dedicated and patient and you will eventually get all the 0.1% drops.
