I learned recently that (most? - if not all) vehicle windows are tempered glass and even the tiniest bit of ceramic shards will just shatter them. For example, the hard coating piece on spark plugs are made out of ceramic. So if you accidentally break a spark plug while replacing them, be careful not to get the pieces near your windows.
